HI Bob,
Do you remeber which interview?
thanks
I suggested this might be a good time for another Q&A........
Email from Fiona:
Yes I am sure you are correct
I have already requested Sarah look at this over the weekend
Its nothing new but thought i would share it anyway.
I recognise that it has been seven days since we put out the RNS to say we had commenced the suspension on ELM-1004 and moving to the Fracción D area to complete and test the second well CSo-2001(d). What has been happening during this time is that the rig is dismantled and moves across location on field tracks to start the next operation. As you are aware that the Austral basin is very far south and this year experiencing a harsh and changeable southern hemisphere winter. At present the current temperature is -7 degrees with snow. This accounts for 3-4 weeks timing to account for the move that we are using.
We also messaged to the market on all communications that the volcaniclastic Tobifera is a new play for us and CGC with complex reservoir properties. As we have messaged, we will not know how a zone will accurately flow (deliverability of the reservoir) until we test it. In the case of ELM, the well has flowed dry gas to surface but the reservoir properties show it needs a helping hand.
Hi Folks, Im no O&G expert as will become clear but would appreciate some help........
reading the RNS is understand that the 'highly productive' but wet lower part of the well has been isolated due to cement failure. leaving 8m of pay
I have seen people discussing a quick cement job and were back on the road but the RNS wording to me looks more like they have permanently shut off the lower part of the well and they will only stimulate the remaining 8m?....
'Having now isolated the upper zone of the well, a further rig-less stimulation can now be planned and completed without the testing rig on site'
whats your thoughts?
that was the last throw of the dice for me, Ive been in here for a long while and this company just keeps kicking that can down the road. they wont win a legal battle in India, It wont happen. GSPC feel they are right, OEX have no money for a fight. this will go on and on and on.......
Ive lost a reasonable amount but over many years so that dulled the pain, sorry to all who lost a lot!
on to (hopefully) happier times with HUR, RBD and ECHO (not today! but way oversold)
Good luck to all who stay in.
Do get in touch with JS directly, if you email with your phone number he will call you back and answer questions you might have. Its their policy not to answer questions by email.
also picked up more, way over done
Cool only another 588% to go and im in the blue :-)
Yeh i'm not expecting good news to be honest but.... expect the worst hope for the best,
my investment is now so small as to only be visible with strong magnification so its no biggie. hope no one here loses their shirt
Thanks all for your responses, much appreciated...... It was not bad at all :-)
Its <£1k so small beer but it all adds up.
thanks again for the input, I did see that the divi has come back which is interesting and the direction is going the right way and they are making some good moves it seems so probably a hold based on all that.
thanks
If you have any interest in O&G then you could do worse than HUR and RBD, just spreading the good word :-)
A major update on the default issued to GSPC.
So either the gov have approved it, they told us to get on our bike or at the outside some agreement has been reached with GSPC to move forward.
That's my guess, I don't know which it will be.
well at least its news...........
Hi folks, im looking for a little help if you dont mind, im mainly in O&G stocks but the missus has just found that she has some Tesco shares and im just looking for some thoughts on future price direction if anyone has any. I just want to see if anyone feels its worth it to hold for a while, is there much upside?
Ill obviously have a read up myself too but just thought id ask, thanks very much
cheers
I've tried emailing a few times, nothing, please give him a try Callum
Im trying to think what this might indicate. Besides being broke. Anyway i thought we were actualy ok for working cap for a while?...... could be we have a deal and this is just a payday loan to tide us over or maybe we dont have anything and thats just all they could get. I wouldnt be surprised with either. I will say this tho. Its the only share in my portfolio that turns 8% on £600 worth of trades lol. So if we extrapolate that then i only need someone to buy about £25000 and ill be in the blue. Any takers? ...thought not 😊
