Hi Mick, I disagree, I think the Cali wells will underpin the company, the costs are low and will be brought online (relatively) quickly.
I do agree with you that with unconstrained flow we should be at 500boepd (including the gas) but i see that as a base case net.
There could be upside but i'm not expecting it and I don't expect it to be lower. Have a look back at the test flow rates the VG-4 well flowed at 1000bpd unconstrained. it wont flow that in production as will be chocked back.
Id be very happy with 500boepd net from cali. Companies have been valued at more for less.

Exactly simon. Re did my calcs earlier and the short story is i agree the share price is still low. This has a lot more to give and when you start looking at the npvs even heavily discounted were still on sale here. Think the sp progression validates that. Very happy long hold for me. This is just the start of what the company set out to do

Its just 189Bcf x sale price in therms or there abouts. Doesnt factor in recovery rates or time like npv. Its just what you might get if you could take it all out today and flog it at market price and extraction cos you £0. BUT it does make a great headline figure so im not complaining. Should raise a few eyebrows. : - )

Disagree with everything you just said. They have a seat on the board of the opperators. Meaning they have direct influence. VG4 is taking a while because of the required gas kit. This is a good thing. Cali is beating all expectations. They dont come accross as smug at all.

Jesus open your eyes chaps. Of course it could happen. My only problem with the article is they missed out some of the other, frankly, more worrying risks. Vis. we could all be wiped out by a virus, we could crack cold fusion and make oil worthless or we all find out were actualy living in the matrix. I may complain
