Day traders getting impatient.
I'm holding here for Stonepark upgrade (sold 15% of my holding here 2 weeks ago to invest long term in G11 as I believe encouraging recent results in neighbouring Carrickittle will be added to stonepark). Glencore will make a move very soon for the lot, once results next week are as anticipated!

The recent fundraise was based on Carrickittle results.
In response to a congratulatory comment about Carrickittle results on linkedin a month ago, the G11 CEO wrote that, "a proven orientation is pinned down fairly well at Zone 1 - so it will be very interesting to see if similar orientations are at play at Zones 2-4. It appears they will be - but only time will tell".

Here's hoping Stonepark results will be good and Carrickittle is also proven up to further boost a G11/Glencore takeover of Arkle's share as surly it will then satisfy the so called combined 10/10 (10M tonnes @ 10% Zinc/Lead) for economical zinc/lead mineral exploration in Ireland. As Gino said, Glencore want it all.

Article in the Irish Examiner today states the government has not renewed a memorandum of understanding with Next Decade and its partners in 2017 to explore a joint development opportunity for a new floating storage regasification unit and associated LNG import terminal infrastructure in Ireland where Eamon Ryan said,
"his department is carrying out a review of the security of energy supply of Ireland's electricity and natural gas systems, focusing on the period to 2030 in the context of ensuring a sustainable pathway to 2050. The review will include a technical analysis and a public consultation, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year".

Whatever happened to Jimmy who used to post very informatively on both here and on the Lansdowne board 3-4 years ago ( I'm waiting a long time here too).
He mentioned he had a large number of shares in Lansdowne especially, and forecast 20p for Lansdowne on possible takeover once farm out was complete. You both had many debates and made for very interesting reading.

The Government will have no choice but to sanction another gas fired plant as current data centres are dependant on Eirgrid (they couldn't care less about cutting off householders if necessary for a few hours as this would paradoxically help their case). Ireland recently announced a security of energy supply review including a review of the single source of natural gas imports (i.e. Moffat in Scotland) and the associated risks of a supply shortage at that location.

Predator also owns and operates exploration and appraisal assets in current licensing options offshore Ireland, for which Successor Authorisations have been applied for, adjoining Shell's Corrib gas field in the Slyne Basin on the Atlantic Margin and east of the Kinsale gas field and Barryroe oil field in the Celtic Sea.

Nothing like a crisis to sort out the Greens as now. People are so dependant on broadband that even a short power cut would change the social media green brigades' minds, if they couldn't post for a few hours.

Good argument in fairness.

I wonder does G11 CEO really want Glencore to take a controlling stake? Did Gentile up his stake to hinder/minimise Glencore dilution ? Hinder I think if they are conversing on social media. Note all views IMOP and I welcome contradiction.

The reason Bart set up G11 was around his big think strategy (taking on licences and proving up a huge prospecting acreage) which he obviously thought of while he was a mining analyst at Davy. I think its too early for him to give Glencore a controlling share as he would be relinquishing it at a very low market cap. Gentile could raise finance easily and they could sell proved up acreage as necessary without Glencore calling the shots.

Perhaps G11's Chinese state Partner with a 40% stake ( Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet )in Ballinalack will put a spanner in the works if this expected huge resource at a deeper depth in Stonepark comes to fruition? Now that would be interesting. See interview article from proactive from 7 months ago. Either way Arkle will do well if results live up to expectations.

Michael Gentile has recently increased his investment in G11 to circa 19% (our majority partner in Stonepark). This is after encouraging results in Carrickittle, next to Stonepark. He even congratulated him on Linkedin after the results prior to the recent G11 share placement to bring his investment up from 10%. Glencore I assume would have to make a takeover offer if they increased their % shareholding much further.

This seasoned investor is also a strategic adviser for Arizona Metals (whose share price recently has rocketed on expected positive drilling results from its Kay mine gold/copper prospect. Worth a look.

He was also a hedge fund manager who grew an initial 15m fund to 650m in a few years from early investments in prospective mining companies.

He obviously see huge potential here. G11 would need to have a significant share placement to purchase Arkle's interest which is unlikely given its current market cap of circa £7m.
Glencore, Michael Gentile and insiders now own circa 50% of G11 which will enable Glencore to easily get shareholder agreement on the sale of G11's 76.5% Stonepark. Getting it into production while zinc prices are very favourable with a possibly low extraction cost on Stonepark due to its highgrades in shallow ground should hasten this deal.

I think Glencore will buy Arkle's share of Stonepark and G11's if the results are as expected. The higher grades at a shallow depth would be very profitable and would subsequently fund commencement of Pallas Green production. G11 and Arkle with healthy balance sheets could then focus on proving up their respective zinc and gold assets.

As Glencore own 24% of G11 and have one of their directors on board, they will always be kept in the loop.

Arkle have a current M/C of circa 5.8M Sterling after today. If the Stonepark zinc is worth circa 30m , Group 11's share is circa 90M.
G11 market cap is currently circa 7.7M Sterling (€13.3m Canadian) as I type, on Canada's TSX exchange and that's even without taking the recent positive Carrickittle results.

GLA as I hope both Arkle and G11 keep moving up as I'm banking on both

I am in here for Stonepark results and I didn't expect gold news like this.

Nice surprise on the gold today so I top sliced and put the lot back into Group11. Glencore (own 27% of G11) might take stonepark off Arkle and then we have funds without dilution to further explore gold resources.

Group 11 has 75% of Stonepark versus 25% for Arkle and has only a circa €6m market cap after today's Carrickittle drilling results.
Much better value to be had in Group 11 IMO and no warrants due until at least another 50% rise on todays price. They also have huge acreage in the area and Glencore own 25% too. DYOR
