hemms their mandates dont allow them to invest in coal projects. mcmining (if we can just get the funding and start contruction and production) are well placed for various reasons
1 in africa. supply coking and thermal. green energy is absolute but in our lifetime coal will be relevant in sa and sub saharan africa. too many jobs and too many coal hungry infrastructure and energy projects
2 makhado sez is going to be massive.
3have export potential so finding a market is no problem
4 government backing
the funding news will light this up and i will be surprised if the news dont arrive before middle october

the funding at that stage was advanced. trump vs china trade war started and coking coal spot price fell big time, resulting in the potential funders to get cold feet. the process then had to start again which brought us to where we are today.
agreed that the frustration is palpable and i also feel the same, but the next 3 months should yield funding from pic. really looking at production latest july 2021 . weither the sp will rerate back to better levels then (july2021) or with the announcement of funding (current sp accepts that we not getting funding) is anyones guess maybe a target from here if anyone would /could speculate would be appreciated.
been nibbling myself at these levels. hang in there guys this is not an easy hold hopefully no unexpected drama here anymore

Brenda is organizing a bridge fascility from idc to see us through while we finalise funding. That news is a fact . Probably big boys cashing out and it was at any price. Heard absolutely nothing fundamentally and i may agree that maybe the switch got tripped......... funding for makhado has a golden handle on it

Big volumes on jse this week. Sellers at any price/volume and at last some buyers picking these up. Rockbottom sp. Funding is the kicker. Could it be that at last we get some certainty?
