Anybody have any info on the way forward?

spoke to her 2 days ago. 3 candidates. worse case the chairman come to sa for a month or so if ceo not appointed before 15feb. there is a big vibe around sez and our chinese shareholders want to get involved there so no more money from them for phase 1.

also very dissapointed in the untimely resignation . noticing a very active buyer at 170-200 levels on jse which is encouraging....

Would be fortunate to get funding by june 2021 if at all. Been taking too long....

My understanding is that it is being build in the makhado returns....

If they want to sell out of mcz it is quite an overhang to clear

Also the builder doing my alterations at home say there is a 6month steel shortage in sa. Nothing. Confirmed by a civil engineer. So we may be in some demand especially if the ramaphosa infrastructure drive (50 tenders gazetted in the government paper) realises. Pic heavily invested in amsa and would make sense to deliver coke at reasonable prices to amsa in stead of them importing all coke at zar weak currency. The stars are aligned...

idc invested in amsa so if we can deliver coke to amsa (at a far better rate than their import) the idc will also be in a sweet spot. thermal is a by product and we have takers for it...still think lift off is near

the sez is the cherry on top but for now we need to start construction but funding first

In sa inc mining the corporate actions usually start to wind down in november and basically non existant in december and january.
The funding is now due....

One opinion boz. A project like this has been consulting with the makhado community for years and years.....and at a great cost

Need the 9m usd funding and the trend will start to reverse

a few buyers at last on jse.... bear in mind that this funding of 9m usd, if achieved and with the unfortunate but neccessary dilution, is adequate for makhado phase 2 as well since we will be using the revenue from est 550 mt met coal pa and 550mtpa thermal (at current prices and rand ex it is 1.3billion rand a year turnover) to fund phase 2.

just need this 9m usd now to light this rocket.
