Once again Beluga...tread carefully. I met Mr Ashman at an IM in London back in I think November 2019. He was very likeable, very bullish; he sounded very sincere - share price then around 16p. Because of verbal abuse here and elsewhere he's gone silent and will not respond to even polite emails. All I'm trying to say is you may be better waiting for something concrete than promises that have regularly failed to materialise.

Big punt - I don't like it either but using words like Moronic and wally really don't help!

Share price one week ago 16.5p, share price today 12.5p. Nothing else matters!

Belugawhale- you need to filter Bazza as a lot of here have already done. One note of caution though; a lot of us have held a lot of shares for many years...we have heard it all before but are still waiting for Mr Ashman to start delivering

Letitrun....I agree with 99% of what you say but if Mr Ashman simply underpromised and delivered something he would not have half the aggro! I will never insult him as such but he is proving to be his own worst enemy...the AGM is once again at a time and place where ordinary PIs are effectively barred from attending.

If SOH wants to know why sales are so poor he ought to try it. It's sickly, it's gloopy, it's malodorous and it doesn't dissolve properly however long you stir it. I will not be placing an order.

Aquae - my issue with the NDA is that it seems to be permanent! Another question Mr A avoids at IMs...when when when is it going to end?

I just want to go back to the good old days! In I think 1971 I bought my first share, one share in Young and Co Brewery. A crowd of us bought just the one share and used to take the day off work just to go and indulge our tastebuds at the AGM....we went for a few years until they got wise to it and put a minimum shareholding in place to attend the after party!

In retirement I have been to a number of AGMs, at least in London; at quite a few we get reasonably well fed and watered! All I can say Aquae is that at an AGM you can at least look SA in the eye and refuse to accept any c**p; if you get a half-a***d answer you repeat the question. Edb - a good question for him, you promised us regular IMs so what changed your mind?

Before I retired I worked in Newcastle quite a bit and regularly stayed and went to conferences at the Sandman which is a 3 minute walk. Is it perhaps too expensive to hold the AGM there? The station is a 12 minute walk!

Perhaps they need reminding of their annual report - page 18 "The Board is committed to communicating openly with shareholders to ensure that its strategy and performance are clearly understood"

Clio/Toyin, et al! This may sound harsh but..... Whatever happens Mr Ashman has "earned" nigh on £2m from running the Company whilst us lot have seen sweet fa. With his continued refusal to engage with shareholders at any level will he even care if he's voted out?

Aquae, Clio, R55.....I agree with all of you to some extent, in the end the only salient point is that we have a CEO who refuses to engage with his shareholders. In over 40 years in the City I have never come across such arrogance, he has negligible "skin in the game" what is he playing at?

I also have I think a plausible theory about where all the shares that MD is hoovering up are coming from; investors like us who are pi55ed off waiting for something, anything to happen. I have several friends who are invested here, most of them now just want out when they break even. I wonder how many other PIs think the same.

Toyin - yes it's a great shame but atm Mr Ashman is refusing to answer any questions, let alone searching ones. That is why, with regret, I will use my paltry vote against him at the next AGM. He is simply not CEO material if he refuses point blank to engage with his shareholders. He needs to stick with what he's good at, I will happily let him be Chief Scientific Officer or some such fancy title if he wants one, but not CEO. And the question of how someone can accumulate a 10% holding (now over 13%) without any notification needs an answer. I'd love to know where all those shares are coming from, the price has barely moved.

I sent Mr Ashman an email several months ago; one of my questions was about changing the AGM date. Needless to say I am still awaiting his response!

R55 - if Mr Ashman had kept to his promise to hold regular IMs and tell us something concrete he wouldn't have that many questions!

Dire cons - thank you; yes I am very important! I am a part owner of the Company in that I hold shares in the Company and therefore expect my CEO to treat me as importantly as he does everyone else. That may be an old fashioned view; but I'm sticking to it!
