I find it quite amusing that you already have a rudimentary exit plan. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, although I still think that having a plan not to get into it in the first place would have been the far better solution. Anyway, best of luck — I’m sure you’ll find a good way forward.

At this point, the only thing going up is the level of hope.

Apparently we now need plague control, climate reversal and divine intervention just to get a halfway decent PHE RNS.

In time, PHE and HUI will make a lot of money — PHE in the UK, and HUI in the Middle East and North Africa. In three to five years, this will happen.

I find your fairy tale rather tiring, but apparently LSE is completely unmoderated.

What I would still like to know is how, in your world, PHE is supposed to survive for another three to five years.

Sheldonhook - I was invested here for many years and, like many others, paid my tuition along the way. At a certain point I decided to pull the plug to limit further losses — a decision everyone has to make for themselves.

That said, having had exposure to PHE, I still drop by from time to time. The ongoing trend continues to reinforce my view that exiting was not the worst decision I could have made.

If, against expectations, something meaningful were to happen here at some point, I could always re-enter at a fraction of my original exit price. In the meantime, the capital has been deployed far more efficiently elsewhere.

I’m sure Zak Mir and his 2,320 subscribers will turn things around.

In short, as long as PHE hasn’t built a plant and has no stable revenues, further capital raises are structurally likely. Great news for existing shareholders.

So basically, it’s a nice bit of headline about big regions and big opportunities, but no actual money, no signed projects, and no shovel in the ground just yet.

The critical next milestone is planning approval. Only after that comes the question of financing and execution — and the key issue remains: how is this actually going to be funded?

I’m at a stage in life where I don’t want to leave too much to chance anymore. Around 90% of my money is in ETFs like iShares S&P 500, Amundi Stoxx Europe, iShares MSCI Emerging Markets IMI, iShares MSCI World Small Cap, Amundi Prime Japan, L&G Asia Pacific ex China and Xtrackers CSI300. They generate steady, decent returns without drama.

It may be boring, but I only have about five years left until retirement. I’d rather enjoy that time in peace than chase risky investments and constantly worry about the next fund raise or collapse.
