Good to see several of us LTHs buy under 5p today. Those who know the story well should have confidence that this placing is part of the ducks being lined up for the Q4 series of news events .

I suppose it was inevitable that BRES would come to the trough one more time before the DFS comes through, hopefully Q4 but you never know.

The appointment of Waterborne must surely involve some element of cash down payment to engage them, or will they get compensated by shares in lieu? We just don't know their financial arrangement from that rns, and that's disappointing.

This lot have a habit of living from hand to mouth. Minor placing after minor placing, so the sp never gets a chance to gain momentum. And all the while, yet more warrants are added to the tally. I can see why some folk are just watching from the sidelines or have left for other, better funded, resource plays.

So ESMO isn't going to be the game changing event for the sp. Something else? A JV perhaps?

If Bres knows that Jan is a forced seller, then I would definitely be in favour of holding up news and letting them get squeezed lower in the short term, rather than spoil the upside that might come with a huge increase in OC reserves and resource.

Folks, here is the situation, drawn from the Jan rens feed and Bres's latest presentation:

On 26th June, Jan owned 7.1% of Bres, with 335mn shares o/s = 23mn shares.

Today, Jan owns 4% of Bres, with 468mn o/s = 18.7mn shares.

So, some selling down, but a lot more still to go.

That's one heck of a lot of shares being traded, all of a sudden, from yesterday and today. Can't figure out if they were sells but the closing action suggests there is a persistent seller around still.

Easy to see why the pessimists are ruling here.

It will take stonkingly good drill results, not just technical progress on multiple fronts, to change the mindset here.

Just re-reading through the August CPR rns, I stumbled across this line:

"All of the Temaris PSC prospects are anticipated to be further derisked following the 3D seismic reprocessing currently underway on the Temaris block."

So this updated information, which presumably will lead to enhanced % COS numbers, or greater resources, or both, is ongoing irrespective of the work now underway to find a JV partner.

Also, INPEX. Come December, it will be 12 months since they farmed in (ok, 6 months from deal completion). Allowing for INPEX being an O&G operation on a truly multinational scale, with a bureauracy that comes with that, presumably, how likely is it that a drill decision doesn't get made until early 2026? I note on the INPEX website, that Block 2A is one of 5 similar blocks lumped together in SE Asia, where INPEX is the operator, and which are all described as "Under exploration". So they have a heavy workload of similar properties to get through, before a drill schedule is announced.

What I find odd is that all the regular updates from Helix on X about pad construction at Rudyard have stoppedAugust 29th was the last one.
