This trade potentially backs up conspiracy theories about the very unusual pattern of trading this week. Thats 10% of the company and in my view a very good deal for someone assuming its a buy. Given the II holdings here that trade is over 20% of the free float…

If someone offered you 10% of a company with a solid growing revenue over £30m and an exciting diversification plan into a proven green energy at exactly the right time and backed by partnerships with big players for £2m you’d bite their arm off. Ok some work to be done on the balance sheet but thats the only fly in the ointment.

Not about Cineworld/Regal, but obvious synergies....

At least today had some semblence of normality - Hopefully settle down next week and will start to build in a sustainable way as potential here starts to sink in.

Agreed. The debt covenant is there for a reason and Cineplex were fudging it. Cineplex seem to think the pandemic clause is a get out of jail card, but for me they are secondary small print terms to avoid companies releasing themselves from contracts based on spurious non material factors. Would be a very dangerous precedent to say that Cineplex met the debt covenant.

Small top up again today @ 15.6175 - third time my buy is showing as a sell. The rounded 30 day graph on my broker site is a giving me the middle finger...

Fordy - Not sure where you are reading from as I've been watching a fair bit of the case and have seen very little credible evidence from Cineplex. Great rise today. Hope we hold onto it and have sad goodbye to the 6o's.

Been there Parsnip. Easy to get sucked in to the hypeflation. As you can see from my posts I bought in at 21.8 and 17.5 so am well down. Hoping that the big spike attracted too many short termers that will be shook off soon as I believe it has been oversold and is a great value at current price.

Wow... EV to revenue is now approaching 1:1 here which seems crazy low to me in conjunction with a company diversifying into a green energy source. I undestand there will be some concern about the asset write downs, but even allowing for that there seems to be an awful lot more upside than down. Maybe a quiet day will do no harm in the longer term?

Easy to pick a single stat and create a narrative i.e. 60% YoY increase in revenue. I expect it to hit the moon! Q.E.D

Don't normally buy into all this pesky MM conspiracy theory, but that was a very strange reaction today. The big spike and drop has clearly attracted the wrong sort of attention here but I still feel oddly comfortable invested here. Averaged down significantly today but still nearly 10% down.

Couldn't resist. Just tripled my holding at 0.175. Shows as a sell on here among a long list at the same price.

I bought in as a punt, but it does now appear to be a very good long term prospect so I'll tuck them away. I suspect it will settle somewhere just above 20p in the next few days. Can only imagine that the market can't see past the debt and asset write downs, but everything points towards this company turning to a positive trajectory. With it's underlying core performace picking up and a very credible plan to diversify into an exciting green energy space. Geothermal won't get expensive when the wind drops...

Agreed. Significant recovery of revenue and small improvement in cash balance. In conjunction with the geothermal opportunities this seems good. Hope market agrees.

EP, not wanting to kick someone when they are down, but I would suggest you reflect on your posting style as it has a series whiff of ramping. All hyped up, everything is strong buy with limited credible justification and your posting boards are like a who's who of the pumped and dumped.

I opened a small position here today with limited research as spectacular rise and fall grabbed my attention. On reflection I can't really see why it spiked quite so high yesterday given the SSE Geo thermal tie up has limited detail, but I do agree that it is an exciting area for Igas to be diversifying into and the work on looking at repurposing their existing existing gas and oil assets for geothermal is also interesting.

Its all potential and sentiment at this stage so hard to value and probably more of a long term bet than I anticipated. Hope I'm wrong and that we can regain some upward momentum tomorrow.
