I'd guess volume is drying up because they are holding the price. Need to let it go one way or the other to stoke up interest. Given observations of L2 it could reinforce the view that they are transferring to another ii and want to keep the average down?

Followed by dumping of another quarter million shares. These big sells are clearly being drip fed in now, which is good in a way, but when will they stop? I suspect that is the remainder of KOG but they must be starting to run dry soon?

L2 - someone clearly knows they are desperate to sell, but also have faith in the true value. Mexican standoff?

Is it worth considering trading on the gap betweek US and UK? Surely they will close in. I thought that if anything the US listing would trade at a small premium?

Just topped up and as expected it shows as a sell thats five out of five in Igas. 10,666 @0.1875.

Back on last weeks trend - tight spread, lots of very round trades in multiples of 5k/10k, hard to tell sells from buys. Looks like seller still going to me. At lease they gave us a glimpse of what's to come when they are finished.

Parsnip - it is confirmation that there was a reason for the drop and also that it has finished or almost finished. While selling is normal, one institution offloading such a significant proportion has created the deflation. Would obviously have been even better if it was another ii showing faith by buying in but this is next best thing and fundamentals should drive it up to where it should have been in the first place.

I agree with JH. Suspect they are exiting and selling is still continuing, but even so at volumes like yesterday shouldn’t be long before we are shot of them anyway and it can be properly let free. The 100k, 50k, 35k and 20k trades continued yesterday although rate decreased. I haven’t seen such a sizeable holding disposed of in such a small company in this manner before. Anyone else know if it is normal? Hoping it will do even better when we are completely shot of them…

EOA, the EV of this company is still close to 1:1 with revenue and that obviously takes debt into account. It will go again. I’m still seeing lots of 100k and 50k trades. Seller still going?

Wow. At last…. This one was testing my resolve.

I don’t really understand the close price yesterday of 16.5? Not a trade I can see in sight in the 16s. Why would they want to artificially show another drop on day? Surely if it was a big sell, letting it go a bit would stoke up more interest than continual drops?

Achilles. I am starting to believe it may be Kerogen downsizing or exiting. Given they are specialist in energy I suspect they will have a whole raft of more exciting propositions in the current energy situation than you or I and maybe a 2000 boepd company with an mcap of under £20m isn’t as interesting to them as it is to us. I’m committed here and keeping the faith here until something tangible that says otherwise. It would certainly be nice if whoever is causing this would do one, but I’m relatively confident it is not normal market forces.

The other thing I wanted to point out is that the unusually high proportion of very round volume trades continues suggesting to me that the large sell is continuing.

Some small signs of hope today which is disappointing as I was hoping for a strong start. The real spread here is minute through trading which makes it very difficult to decipher between buys and sells. All 4 purchases I have made over last week have shown as sells. I thought on Friday that the big late purchase was a buy but I'm now thinking that one of our two biggest iis are clearing out. Hoping they are desperate for the cash rather than know something we don't. Entirely possible that they have an urgent opportunity somewhere else given they are both energy specialists. Read results again today and can't see anything obvious missed so I'm keeping faith.

Is looking more like a big seller rather than buyer now. Drop again spooked me so only topped up £1k this morning. Hoping not good money after bad…
