It really depends. They have not filed for insolvency, so there's a chance.............but requesting a suspension is never a good sign. If they do file..........you lose your money. If they re list, trading carries on as before.
Well don't then!
What do we reckon? possibly worth a go? There is lots of doom, gloom, suicide and mayhem to come, with chavs and scallies selling their LCD TVs bought with the cash they used to get working illegally whilst on the sick because the cash work has dried up. Worth a punt? discuss.
it wasnt removed. you probably posted it just before the site was taken down to install upgrades and it got lost.
No mate, I work in the Northwest of England. I wish I WAS building one in Newquay!!! I was offered one on Anglesea which would have been great because I'd have had a nice holiday apartment in Wales all paid for by the firm!!!! but it was put back in planning so often I was busy with something else when it started. I would not be buying this just yet..............it isnt going to shoot up without news. It may however sink back down to the 0.2/0.5 mark again. So I will buy right at the bottom or on the news. I didn't buy at the bottom last time because.........there was no news, financing some way off..........so it would be dead money exposed to a high risk for longer. Soon is the time.........Jan and Feb are going to be pivotal for many shares.
These shares are a dead cert in my opinion. They wil FEFINTELY either cease trading or recover. No, I don't require any praise or glory for the above advice. (now before you accuse me of being facetious, look at what I am REALLY saying, that these are nothing but a punt. )
No such thing. Anyone with half a brain errs on the side of caution in share dealing. Or as they say in flying circles: There are old pilots. There are bold pilots. There are NO old, bold pilots.
this mythical dividend was covered ages ago when I pointed out that THERE ISN'T ONE, an RNS indicated they were suspending the interim payment. You really ought to look at the website of any company you're buying into, it's all there plainly written.............just waiting to be read.
I dont care what happens. I already took out my investment and a profit, so what I have left is completely free. I shall keep those and see what comes. Administration is every bit as likely as recovery. I certainly would not be buying more now, just in case.
But, I told you so:P
I'm just sitting on these and have been for a while now. Ditto PFD, both will show very good returns over the next 6-18 months I think. There's a few I have such as these that I rarely even bother to look at because they're pretty stable companies with small problems suffering from sector movement. No worries here and already well up from my purchase price.
Well said, and my point exactly. That's why I have looked at thse, but not bought. buy when there is a signal to buy, don't just throw your money at the roullette table!
You've said it all there........luck. You are relying on it, and proper share dealing is NOT about luck. You don't commit all you have to a dodgy share. I own SOME dodgy shares, but they represent a small part of a larger portfolio. They are small amounts of high risk high return which so far overal have paid off because I have quite a few of them. Going from MEC to ENN is pointless. I would advise buying NOTHING until you have gained some more experience. Trade fantasy shares for a month see how you do, and LEARN. You are sounding like you are desperate to make a quick killing. Isn't going to happen unless you rely on luck, and you will be more likely to lose the lot that way.
I think you should, you're far better off in the fire than in the frying pan ;)
I'm not saying it's a bad investment, I have been saying it's a punt, a bet. nothing more. This could easily go down, but if it survives it will pay off well. Sounds like I'm covering bases? No, just saying as part of an overal portfolio, yeah, sure, throw £500 IF you are prepared to lose it. I will be doing so at some point, just not yet. What you SHOULDN'T do is put any large amount into it, or put money in with any expectation except losing it. My posts were more directed at those who were buying on the strenght of a mid term divi which the 2 week old RNS stated was not being paid! Informed decisions are a different matter.
My recommendation is that you go the the company website and read their releases.
this is pure punt territory. I may/may not throw £500 in on the grounds that i'm prepared to lose it. If however they sort out their short term future, I'd come in for more. If you ARE a betting person, 500 smackers could quite easily become £0 or £2-3k in short order, depending which way the wind blows. But so far there is no indicator for which direction that will be.
I read that a couple of weeks back. Some people were intending to buy based on an interim divi that isn't even going to be paid, beleive it or not!
dump £500 -£1k in here tomorrow just as a punt. I may well lose it, but if it does recover with a takeover or renegotiate it's debt, it will pay back very well at this price. decisions decisions
I find them no better or worse than most carriers? Singapore Airlines have a great rep, and I think the cabin crew are rubbish!!! They give miminal amounts of nibbles away, unless you're travelling busness class. BA have always been smiley and given me lots and lots of peanuts on demand. Not to mention extra breakfasts and extra unidentifiable goop (not a cuss, unidentifiable goop is one of my faves)
