To answer my own question George Osborne lent Ireland 7Bn pounds via the IMF in Nov`2010 to pull them out of going bust.I do not know if we were repaid or not,but either way, the sentiment of quid pro quo has clearly not been reciprocated.
Says it all in my opinion.

If you lived in Southern Ireland the sweat would be on alright.
