Good ride in JD Sports today to finish up circa 81p. Word is out about the Worlkd Cup of course. But shhh, don't tell the shorts! Lol

@StressedOut1 I make it clear that I sold, but retained a small holding in JD Sports. Profit banked is better than balancing cash on to of a yo-yo! I am happy to hold the remainder as it is pure profit. I will only add when the JD Sports share price drops, as I want to preserve my low buy average in this stock.

@Taverham No tips from me. I prefer to keep my investments and comments to their respective LSE discussion boards. That said, you are right, transport stocks will be the big winners for obvious reasons, when crude oil drops, those stocks do best overall.

@Steve3639 I still hold JD Sports shares - albeit a much smaller holding than previously. Profit banked and all that. I am not delusional, JD Sports has been a yo-yo stock for some time now.

Buy low, sell high, simple. At the moment JD Sports is on the upswing-ish. The end of the US Iran war will boost this stock, then it will drift and settle back down due to the UK economy and high youth unemployment (JD Sports' target market). JD Sports sells high quality, high priced items so it will be affected.

There are other better opportunities at the moment, which will be much bigger beneficiaries when the US Iran peace deal is announced. I will only add to my JD Sports holding is back down after the down-swing, which will happen, not if...when.

Mobico is currently .2180p up 2.25% so far today. I have added somewhat AM today, however, due to US attacks (aka defensive strikes), I have retained a large amount of cash for the offical announcement of a peace deal between the US and Iran. You know the old sayong, it ain't over till the fat lady sings...well the fat lady is warming up her vocal cords backstage, ready to make an appearance. GLA

@Steve3639 Whilst I admire your enthusiasm - and your prediction of 80-82p by the end of today and up to 87 by the end of the week (and your reassurance that you have been right every time) - the market does not share your optimism. The fact is that JD Sports is and remains a yo-yo share. The sooner you understand that the better for your own sanity.

Just to add that international crude oil prices have dropped, and today's European stocks have risen. Tomorrow and ove rthe rest of the week, is a great time to invest in Mobico as it sits firmly in the transport sector, and Mobico will benefit from market sentiment towards this sector.

Of course, MObico will also release its RNS by 30 June, so for me its a buy and hold.

All shorts in Mobico are in serious trouble and smart shorts will close immediately when the market opens or risk serious wipe out.

The article below (released 15 minutes ago) is the end game for US Iran war.

A source familiar with talks between the high-level Iranian delegation and officials in Doha says Qatari mediation has led to an understanding with the US on Iran’s frozen financial assets. Thanks to the agreement on this issue, which was of high importance to the Iranians, there is a strong likelihood of an agreement between the US and Iran being announced tomorrow, the source added.'

I am pleased I added significantly last week and I will pile into Mobico with further investment when the market open on tomorrow Tuesday. I predict Mobico will increase to circa 27p in quick time. When the US Iran peace deal is announced sometime tomorrow, it could leap back to where it belongs at circa 31p. Mobico is a clear and present muti-bagger.

My advice is never sell in a rising market...and this will be a rising market, as sure as night follows day.

I will certianly add significantly to my already decent postion in Mobico when the markets open on Tuesday. If/when the US Iran peace deal is announced and the strait is re-opened, oil prices will drop like a stone, and Mobico will be a big beneficiary - its share price will jump very quickly and will continue to rise next week. After that, Mobico will rise again on their next RNS for reasons I have mentioned in my previous posts - and we know that Mobico RNS is due on or before by 30 June. Therefore, for me Mobico is a clear and present buy and hold. IMO, DYOR & GLA

With the US Iran peace deal mostly negotiated, and therefore ready to be announced before Tuesday, the shorts will have to close immediately...unless they have rocks for brains. Come to think of it...Lol

Smart investors who have been on the sidelines throughout the US Iran war will pour their cash into the stock market (including your truely), and the transport sector - which share prices have been beaten down to a pulp due to the oil crisis - will be one of if not the biggest riser from Tuesday.

Mobico to rise to circa 27p if not more on Tuesday. Buckle up and enjoy the ride up...

Agreed. It would not surprise me to see an initial increase to 27p on announcement of a peace deal.

Then when Mobico releases its RNS on the German deal and upgraded forecast a to climb to 31p. Let’s wait and see - peace deal first before Tuesday. IMO & GLA

@dwam You change your view on JD Sports more times than Trump does on whether or not to make a peace deal with Iran or bomb the heck out of them! Now you are positive on JD Sports based on a small upswing on NO NEWS. My advice is...don't count your chickens before they hatch. JD Sports is still a yo-yo stock, which at the moment is in upswing...sooner or later (probably sooner) it will be a downswing again. At that point you will revert to type and be all negative on JD Sports once more.

BREAKING NEWS by Iran FM spokesman:

' Iran and the US are focused on ‘finalising’ a memorandum of understanding, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei says. “Over the past week, the opinions have been coming closer,” he said. “We have to wait and see what will happen over the next three to four days.” '

Developments are firmly on the positive side. I have loads of cash ready to pile into Mobico Plc once the US-Iran peace deal is announced. When this happens MObico will re-rate and fly quickly!

Mobico will definately receive some compensation from WMATA.

As Fishbone says an out of court settlement is most likely, which is par for the course.

However, the compensation is a storm in a teacup compared to the forthcoming sign-off on the German deal and the forecast update.

Meanwhile US-Iran talks are finally gaining traction. I predict that an announcement on peace terms will be made before the markets next open on Tuesday next week. If I am right, the oil price will drop dramatically, and Tuesday will be a rocket for the stock market...and especially for transport sector, of which Mobico is an important player. Hence I have added a few from 10.30am today, and I may add further this afternoon.

US Iran negotiations are finally taking shape constructively. The end game is near. The trick is to be in the share market before the US Iran peace deal is announced. That said, I will buy massively in Mobico when the US Iran deal is finalised.

You clearly do not carry out your research properly. I am already mentioned this in my earlier post. Look at the recent shorts - they have shorted Mobico, yet Mobico's share price has increased. So those shorts have doubled down on their positions. Enough said.

As I say, shorts are fleas on cardigans. After they have finished their ride on the Mobico cardigan, they will jump to the next cardigan (stock). Shorts are gamblers plain and simple. Shorts' stock modeling leave a lot to be desired, never mind their common sense.

Mobico has and will continue to rise. This is a clear and present mult-bagger. However, as you are short, you are the last Mobico 'investor' who wants to hear that. Lol

Brent crude futures have dropped further today US time. Therefore, Mobico share price will rise AM tomorrow. IMO

Of course US Iran negotiations are under way. Trump says latest round of negotiations are towards final stages. So we will have to wait and see as to the outcome of talks.
