@AimMaster: Winner, winner chicken dinner!17 Dec 2024 09:33
Well done Aimless you won our little bet, credit where credit is due! Lol
I bought a total of £125,000 of Capita shares at an average of .169p when the Capita share price dipped to .168p on mid AM on 4 December and rode the wave upwards. I actually planned to increase my stake to £200,000 by 17 December i.e. buy on the dips and all that. However late afternoon the next day 5 December 'HHH81' made a typically negative post - this time directed at me (for reasons only known to him) about 'klan members', which I called him out on and asked for an apology, he never apologised. Based on that, plus my 'hunch' (JO's hunches are always right!) that maybe the market wouldn't react well to the expected drop in revenues, I sold all my Capita shares at circa .176p later that afternoon on 5 December and went on my merry way. A tidy, but not spectacular profit.
I've not given Capita a second thought since then. However, last night my diary showed Capita update, so I had a quick look AM today and well, the rest is known...what a damp squid.
So Aimless you were indeed the AimMaster - on this one and only occasion. JO was also a winner (I have HHH81 to thank for that...not that I will thank him...Ho, ho ho, merry Christmas! Lol).
My advice to you Aimless is to close your short position on Capita soon, as the sell-off is overcooked at the moment. I have already banked my profit on Capita. I suggest you do the same...before the other shorts beat you to it!
Capita at the current price of 15.9 is ripe for a slow re-bound to circa 17p-17.5p over the next month or so as investors realise that Capita is actually firmly on track for a good 2025. In fact at 15.9p Capita is starting to look a good entry point once more...I will have to watch this Capita space once more! JO loves a bargain!
