Evening all,I see we have a red day after a blue one yesterday,how irritating going into the weekend thus! There are a few of mine positive but not many and it looks like oil/commodities took the brunt once more! Thankfully I haven't had time to watch too closely. Hope everyone okay.

Evening all,I see glencore has plumbed new depths today! Just dared to look at the spec p/f and see mwana is having a dilutive open offer and international ferro metals have gone bust, hmmmmm. Any good news to cheer me up?

Evening all,didn't expect this ftse drop today but also didn't expect latchways to get taken over so that's my positive for the day,difficult to see any others after a quick peruse,dumped the proceeds into some Pearson and man group found its way back in a small way,been a long time since I had them!

Cheers for the links Troj,many a time I've regretted flogging my Taylor wimpey 3p shares for a small profit and the last few when they hit 30! Wes,as you say,weather the storm and ride the profit if you find a good one. I'm sitting on a small profit on Ithaca which I bought back last week but it's a minority in my spec account,good luck with the one you mentioned.

Wise words mate but equally commodities and cyclicals by nature will bounce back at some point gulp!! The annoying thing is I've tended to lose confidence because of paper losses and sold out too early on recovery in the past, hopefully I've learned that lesson by now....like trying to catch falling knives....bigger aaaarrrghhhh!!!

Annoyingly it's my largest holding and paper loss,aaaarghhhhh!! Enjoy the power nap!!

Probably! No point analysing it in my opinion, every market presents opportunities(to lose more lol),just been picking off a few targets and thanking my lucky stars I've been piling money into a building project rather than the markets the last couple of months as the former seems somewhat more tangible!!

Evening all,no more trades for me today,just the hss which ended more or less where I picked them up. Despite oil down seem to have made up some ground on the oil services ones namely cape,petrofac,hunting and Amec,maybe they've all got big contracts to mothball the drill sites?!! I bet that was a scary moment logging on AA! A couple of my weird ones like netplay seem to be up plus the Blackrock commodities recovered to the heady heights of only being 34.5% down from b/e!

Better get the rest of those trusses up then!! Troj,looks like the lads reacted badly to it though. Bought some hss early doors,looks a bit overdone. Thankfully I didn't buy them at the IPO!!! Have a good day lads....laters

Well that was a better day,let's see what tomorrow brings. Glad blt seems healthier and maintained the divvy,makes me feel a whole lot better about my paper loss!! Bought a few pew and Aberdeen Asian things early doors just in case Asia isn't totally buggered after all!! Down periscope lol
