Irrespective of who bought or sold what,the volume traded today was unusually high for this one........coincidence,II's shifting stock around,something in the wings...who knows! GLA

Evening all, up later than everyone as usual I expect! Had a good week on the mains overall,a few like gfs and interserve still look cheap and got some of those Berkeley holdings in the week for a massive div shortly. Underwater on stagecoach and bought a few st Ives which are down 10p already. Nothing on the aims except theses an open offer popped up on providence res but could buy below the offer price in the market so haven't bothered(or should I?), when a share goes from pounds to pennies I find it difficult to be enthused!!!

No air con but enjoying electricity at the flick of a switch and running water....pure indulgance!!

About four hours after your post to answer that question by the looks of it. Rocky road ahead but on sector, bp crossed four so maybe just maybe commodities are on the recovery? I've held the Aberdeen Asian ones but the latins have a better yield at 3.5ppa currently I think. We're all small fish in a big pond of sharks mate ,good fun sometimes though!

I'm delighted to see us holding so well but for a change the big oils and miners seem to be insulated from the general rout by way of explanation I guess. The latins and Canadians a welcome sight in the p/f too! Dipped a small toe into adn today amongst a few others,who knows eh!

Yes I noticed Glaxo and bp up a bit plus some of my strange fund things which I assume are dollar earnings. Not too happy about legal and general dropping another 6p from my add point though!

Focus on the positives bud, being able to do stuff and see light at the end of the tunnel should keep you going forwards. Cutting the grass a right pain for me as the big mower is out of action for a good month and having to improvise with inadequate equipment and hard graft when on trying to take things easy with a recurring hernia lurking! Good luck with the specialist meeting and get that glass three quarters full bud!!

It was interesting to see how these and the Aberdeen Latins performed plus MCT which I hold because of that dollar earnings effect. I use an old school broker and pay more but equally get more,horses for courses as they say.
