I met with a friend and fellow EUA investor yesterday...we had a look at the wording of the "potential asset sale" RNS from mid-May.

I'm a novice at all this and legal terminology but I there are two things to query if any of you can help.

The RNS states there has been a "proposal" for the substantial asset sale, not an "offer to buy".

A circular will be issued in advance of "a general meeting" not the AGM.

My friend thinks it is a mistaken assumption that the AGM is the date we are all waiting for, and does not know what the difference between a proposal to buy and an offer to buy is in legal terms.

I will wait for the conclusion in any case but any advice which can clarify will be gratefully received (apart from any from you Mad Stork)

Can we have an RNS to vote on a 70p to £1 tomorrow morning and we can all be nice to each other! Unless we refuse anything short of a fiver

I have to confess I didn't read all of the AFC report but would it be reasonable to see that as a marker for the dividend? 70p ish?

My sister's partner had to pick up a burning laptop and throw it out of the window to stop their wooden cabin in the Pyrenees burning down. The hospital visit was pretty grim. I take care not to leave my laptop charging or left in the sunshine now! I don't fancy a lithium vehicle either

I have a small holding in this share and it's my first go at investing, I've been in since last summer and still waiting. I've put everything I can afford into it so I don't have any decision to make apart from waiting. I've learnt alot about information sources but watched with bewilderment how the price stagnates.

A friend of mine recently finished his Masters in software development and got a job with JP Morgan designing AI trading programs. Is that what is somehow happening here? Linked to some code us humans don't know?

Guitar...where do I start?? I'm not a crazy collector but I have most of the obvious bases covered with Fender, Gibson etc. Mostly electric. A Duesenberg, Patrick James Eggle or maybe a Reverend for a new one. Depending on how much I may go hunt a serious vintage semi-hollow, 70s era Japanese stuff is good. I love Ibanez. A shopping trip with price controls turned off is always nice!

I love the environmentally friendly list of supercars. I'll be buying alot of very nice hand tools, timber, a very expensive guitar and a long holiday in France near my sister if we ever get out of plague restrictions!

I haven't had so much as a thimble of drink in six and a half years and I have to say the repeated rum references have occasionally brought to mind some favourite ****tails...I actually live about five hundred yards from a pub called The Rum Shack.

I'm not a huge financial genius but I believe you only make a binding offer before it is accepted. You do so with firm backing at your own risk. Correct?

To me this RNS says nothing meaningful, does it meet expectations for LTH shareholders?

That's a hard question to answer, it depends on the time of year or where I am and what's available. I like food from every part of the world but i grew up in the Outer Hebrides and venison, lamb and seafood are big favourites.

I catered a wedding for a friend at Loch Lomond at made a knockout boullabaise that is a very good memory...scallops with onion with pomegranate jam topped with crushed hazelnuts and spices is an unusual winner that I really like making.

My last meal on earth request would undoubtedly be a very conventional steak frites with foie gras because I had one at Le Relais Gascon in Paris that was so good I almost fell off my seat.

Hope to go back there sometime when some money rolls in!

If NN are to be the major buyer does that then mean mid-May is a reasonable hypothesis for the actual sale announcement?
