Thing is Sparkle valuations tend to go out the window when a ‘strategic’ acquisition is tabled - multiples of revenue, EBITDA etc are sidelined as other factors come into play. Future growth potential, putting you a major step ahead of competitors in a hotly fought market, likely impact on your own sp and market cap etc start to dictate the financial and M&A process.....
Somewhere in the world, in a large rather plush corporate office, the bones of a deal to take SNG001 to market are being hammered out and communicated to a more sparse and meagre office setting in Southampton UK - Richard has a pen in hand and is waiting......
Chris - you’re absolutely right - a week ago we were simply hoping that we could achieve a blue finish - somewhere about 36 - and that Arcacia were out. Much has happened in 7 days - different landscape.
Remember RM in one of his interviews saying that his teams role was to remove the risk barriers, one by one, to enable the ‘big boys’ to come in and enable it to upscale. Monday was the first barrier down, and the one that we all had more concern about, others will follow in the coming weeks.
Spot on Crypto Chris - nothing has changed here in terms of fundamentals since Monday - except that media and analyst coverage since has been positive - other than MMs need stock as they too are looking at how they will satisfy demand shortly once the next RNS lands!
Tonlin - many of us understand - I originally bought on a spike a few months back.....but the back story of SNG and its work around lung based disease and illness is compelling and the more research I did the more comfort I gained. Some of the older posters will know and remember that, when desperately waiting for news, an hour felt like a day, each day felt like a week and so on - every sp rise was countered by an aggressive seller (Acacia) in the background. They were ‘hairy’ days!
For me the situation has changed and I have not sold a single share - I have great confidence in the SNG team and their professionalism. Having seen virtually every interview that I could find that RM has ever given - he is one of the most understated CEOs that I’ve ever seen. This week he is positively glowing....and his words from an iv about 6 weeks ago were “this is our time”.
News will follow soon - the world needs SNG badly and fast!
Jim - I’ve been where you are - bought in on the first real spike a few months ago in mid 60s and then averaged down in the intervening period - but sp always seemed to be below my average and pre 20/7 I was sitting on a hefty paper loss.
However, I had spent ages researching all I could find on SNG and its team and helped by a cohort of LTHs on here I gained confidence in holding my position which had grown to nearly 200k shs. Having seen the initial hospital results and knowing how the SNG team operate my confidence has grown even further. Yes, could understand people taking a profit when it hit 240 but I believe there is so much more value for us PIs to come.
The MMs have played this share ever since I’ve been in it and all I can say is keep looking for more information and good luck to you. Apart from anything else it is going to be a great therapy for years to come (COPD) and will helps millions of people.
CT - of course for SNG therapy the dose has to be formulated to be dispensed as an aerosol and also the device cost too.
Also interesting in the video was the impact of COVID working in conjunction with the flu virus - a chilling prospect.
Should keep this link going for new arrivals on the board and thanks to MoreThanMe for originally posting
