what coal industry ? the last british deep coal mine closed in 2018, only coal burned in this country now is imported from russia /australia/ poland and i dont think they will be throwing their money at the government. maybe the producers of the pellets burned in that supercon power station Drax which is supplied from the U.S.A. may help the government out but we will never find out if they do.

Sorry correction petition is regarding having shorting of shares outlawed, not stamp duty, my mistake.

Over on BAE chat a post with a link has been put up regarding lobbying parliament about abolishing stamp duty charges on shares, i think it should be followed up by all shareholders, its in your best financial interests.
