Some reasonable buying this morning. Nervous toes being dipped back in the water? Cause and effect - once the sp has a chance to lift the buying pressure will increase and the rerate will happen quite rapidly. I have absolutely no doubt that this will happen - it's impossible to ignore all the plus factors which are not currently reflected in the sp.
An observation about the right to buy price of 78p. I've only looked at the RNS from 15th March so I may well be missing out on important detail, but having the right to buy shares at 78p doesn't mean that such a buy will happen. Ok, if the sp were, say, £1 then a 78p option means cheap shares. If the sp were, say, 25p then the option to buy at 78p would simply not be exercised and shares could be bought on the open market or by another issue of new shares. Win win for the option holder, but not necessarily an indication of where the sp is going.
Happy to be corrected on that.
Thanks loudspeaker. Usually I'm content to see the price steady as a rapid spike in prices isunhelpful in the longer term. Today I might have welcomed a rise after the carnage of the past couple of days.
This feels like the scene from Ice Cold In Alex when the ambulance careers back down the hill. I guess we'll just have to start cranking it back up again.
