We've all made poor decisions sometime or another with shares - I just can't see the problem with simply admitting it and then move on.

I've got companies wrong in the past , I lost a lot of money and I admit it. You got this one wrong so why not admit it.

When one is dealing in a company where there are very different opinions on its future, the most stupid thing to do is to only read items that match your own point of view.

Many of here did precisely that. It is regrettable when people lose all their investment (I have been there 3 times) but it has to be said that many of those people have contributed to their own losses.

Not with the amount of debt that it has.

Anyone could probably buy this company for £1. It's then just a little matter of the approximately $60m debt to contend with (I can't remember the exact figure).

Your link does not say that operations are mothballed. It says, in its only reference to operations that: “We continue to work constructively with our major financiers and prudently manage operations in these challenging circumstances.”

That could mean mothballing; it could also mean working towards selling the company, closing it down forever or anything in between. Your 'perception' is mothballing which is no more or no less valid than anyone else's 'perception' - not misinformation.
