I thought it was a good appointment. The offer to join the AIM 50 I think is relevant and if successful may open the doors to new institutional investors.

What do you make of the new NED? Positive news?

So positive about the RNS this morning I've bought some more....

Belles...I know the 30p was a tribute to FK...however this time I really think its possible. Has anybody noticed that as soon as the dodgy 3ab deal was completed that our mate Dave disappeared...hes's probably having a long lunch with CC as we speak....

Fizzy the whole point is that he doesn't have shares in the business. He's an independent director...this is all about strengthening the BOD as the next step to FTSE listing

S.S RNS had really nothing material within it...He has previously suggested he has a dislike of short selling. This was his way of ensuring the shorts didn't achieve their 1p target...

The consistent £1m sells were there to allow the shorts to exit with a profit..all carefully orchestrated to ensure a nice outcome for somebody

I think the last two big purchases at the end of the day were in fact short positions being closed...I would expect to see them now buying back in...

There's your answer for 3ab completed when it was. The new NED wouldn't have wanted anything to do with it! This RNS is really good news, we have an experienced in director with an unsullied background right at the top of the tree...SP 30p buy end of March IMO

Looks like CASP are serious about taking up their offer of joining the AIM50. This looks like they really are planning to have a very good year and don't rule out a TO based on this guys experience.

Just as an aside Adrianz...how do you know the land alone is worth $20m. Not sure that baron unpopulated territory with no natural resource is worth anything...TBO it's probably worth less than nothing as upkeep will alone burden CASP with a cost...Khazak authorities would be happy to give unproductive land away IMO

Adrianz...of course Clive is paid by us. Everybody who owns a share in CASP is in effect a co-owner. Just because we have major shareholders who have enough voting rights combined to push through any resolution they like doesn't mean he isnt accountable to all share holders. Edmund and Clive told us all that $24m was a fair price...as our representative we are supposed to be able to trust his judgement on such matters...its now worth $11m less. Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him!!! it's all going to come good....however big CASP becomes, decisions over the purchase of 3ab could come out of the woodwork and undo all the good work in the future.

Adrianz They didn't sell their home in exchange for shares...they sold us a worthless, unproductive people piece of land inexchange for more shares...last time I looked I bought my shares with hard earned cash...Clives salary is paid by all of us and he should remember that IMO

Just looked over the RNS again. I can't believe Clive puts his name to these things. So if I read it right the asset was only worth £13.5m...but for the purposes of the initial deal they created a 'theoretical' valuation not a true one. This theoretical deal was calculated based on 12p a share. Today the deal is done at 6.9p a share which is a reflection of the true value. So if they hadn't driven the price down with spurious RNS we'd have overpaid by £11m...how Clive and Edmund could sanction a deal that leaves us £11m out of pocket and is supposed to be fair God knows....said it before the 3ab deal stinks...

So SOLO haven't sold a share yet..suggests to me that UKOG have artificially suppressed the share value to enable this deal to be signed off...SOLO have shares at 1.44 and can dispose of them after the 28th. Unlikely they will want to take a haircut on their deal...so good news on the way IMO...SP 1.50 by the end of Jan?

Options taken by Kuat..he hasn't taken those for a chance of a 50% profit. Should see a lot of positive news flow IMO

Richy....I think it's the last piece of the puzzle. But who knows...I am sure they could be flowing both A5 and 801 but have chosen not to. I really disliked the 3ab deal when it was announced and still believe it's just a vehicle for our major shareholders to get a bigger piece of the cake. Having said that it all points to a very successful outcome for CASP and us as shareholders.
