When our director bought in @7.4p the SP was 4p...interestingly WH Irelands blue sky valuation at the time was 74p exactly a 10x multiple...the removal of the original loan deal which had a royalty aspect to it, the subsequent merger and recent activity would suggest an offer around 75p- .£1 will be on the table shortly...

I don't think Clive leads anything at all at the moment...he relies on others for industry experience, is there only to facilitate, compliance and to oversee the complexities of taxation and ownership..he's only there until a takeover

Will the OIP at MJF exceed expectations and add value?
Will MJF oil be sold at international prices?
Will 801 be commercial?
Will A5 be commercial?
Will A6 be commercial?
Could A8 hit the sweet spot and deliver a Tengiz size well?
Could CASP be subject to an offer at any time?
Is todays market cap a fraction of its potential based on some or all of the above being proven?
With current production more than covering administration costs, personally the risk at this price is worth taking IMO.
The article posted by CC before Christmas highlighted that oil below the salt layer is tricky....CASP is 7p because of the missed deadlines and problems getting these wells into production....you cant have it both ways!! GLA

I have won some lost some on other shares this year....overall I have made a decent, if not amazing profit....I now have that profit invested in ALBA and CASP and am happy that both these companies will see substantial increases in value next year...

Dave...just a little advice. Companies that are worth investing in are the ones that do not indulge investors with what they want to hear to maintain the SP...they are the ones that ultimately deliver value in the form of profits and dividends...I think that you'll find that Enron's investor relations were exemplary, timely, engaging and appeared transparent and accurate...the kind of blue chip company offering a guaranteed return you may have been interested in...

Dave whatever your views are on my definition of equity are....one thing is certain. you are missing a great investment opportunity here and that the SP IMO is set to continue to rise...once you've got your head around those facts you'll realise that there is only one investor with poor judgement here and it isnt me...for those genuine holders Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year..

Wrong again.....Alternatively, equity can also refer to a corporation's share capital (capital stock in American English). The value of the share capital depends on the corporation's future economic prospects......and just to clear up you're other point....dividends are paid from profits....the higher the percentage of the share capital you own, or the more shares the more of the dividend received....In casps case it doesn't matter whether the sp is 6p or 600p....have a great weekend watching whatever you watch...

So largeone...when a company pays a dividend....does it pay based on the current SP or does it pay you a percentage based on your equity...
