Well, as seen this am, they have certainly been selling off OXB. I think, from memory only and I haven't checked, that I have noticed several Aviva reductions in biotechs over the last few months so I guess your comment about dumping stocks last summer applies to the segment in general and not just RENE? Considering how much they hold it's a significant damper!

Stake-building since Xmas??

On 24 January 2017 (last report I can see) Amphion had 43,240,654 or 22.1% of the 204 million shares. Market cap of MTFB at the moment is £48.7 million, so Amphion's stake worth about £10.8 million. Amphion's market cap right now is £4.2 million. If we project Iclaprim getting on the market, comparison with those other bios would mean that AMP's share might be valued at, say, £50 million? Amphion of course has other interests, for example its holding in Kromek is currently worth about £1.5 million. So just MTFB and KMK justify the current market cap of Amphion .... on a "risk-free' view of course!

Another good day it seems. Not far now to breaking that previous high of 238 when, of course, I wish I had sold and bought back! I think I'll stick for a while though now.

Something seems to have worked. Nothing much has changed over the past few years, except more biomarkers patented and growing income from TMT family, so I think this has just been massively oversold through boredom and better short-term opportunities elsewhere ... of which there seem to be quite a few at this moment in bios.

Well, news of Novartis filing for their CAR-T theraputic is certainly coming, and perhaps within weeks. The question therefore is not, will there be news, but rather is that the news that is driving this spike or is it something else. I suspect that, whichever it is, it is substantial.

I suspect its going much higher than 13p.
