They are trying to sell(JPM) some high yield(the percentage hasn’t been set yet I believe) bonds ($500million worth). Nothing to do with selling things 15p. Hope that makes sense.

We only need entities that want a high % return on their capital. SP is irrelevant to that.

Indeed Sasa, I’ve most certainly learnt my lesson on buying/selling on the opening few minutes in times gone by. I was just checking the actual prices being offered, must have got my timings wrong.
Any way a happy holder here, looking to add on any opportunities. Plenty in the pipeline(pun intended) and hopefully something springing up right of arc in the next 12 months.

Started off with a large spread this morning. £1.37buy or £1.31sell was being offered to my self. Smoke and mirrors with the movement.

Every time I log onto my iweb it’s showing myself an unpleasant 50% loss as I transferred from other brokers whilst the sp was in the 30s. It will be a good day when my imaginary loss is evened up.

Iweb have managed to totally dropped a clanger with my self. I placed 1 half of my monies for the entitlement in my trading account due to ISA only space for the other half. That money is still sitting in my trading account despite being reassured twice on the phone that the transaction would be put through.... many thanks IWEB!

The article has a bit of meat on the bones with the risks still ahead. However jotted with mistakes. The main one being: “Sirius has said the sums raised through the placing and the convertible bonds is enough to get the project up and running, and to achieve its initial production capacity target of 10 million tonnes per year. It will then begin to utilise the sums raised through the senior secured bonds and that available through the revolving credit facility to expand the project to 20 million tonnes per year and get the mine to positive cashflow.”

Fingers crossed that they are correct though :-)

May 23rd I believe.

This is my 5th ISA allowance year I’ve been able to accumulate SXX shares. All my shares are now fortunately in an ISA/sipp(apart from the OO overspill into my trading account). People potentially only have 1 ISA allowance before production! Well that’s my positive thought on burdening a bit of the risk getting in earlyish :-)

I’m also excited to see opportunities for various other forms of revenue post production. GLA

LITC. I feel that it will be much different. Majority will be offered this II’s. Everything has evolved so much more. Production a mere two year of awesome engineering progress. Totally derisked once financed opening the gates for a lot of risk adverse investors.

I’m of the opinion that competition between institutions will see us right. Along the lines of- If Barclays want to own 10% of my house forever after the along with a 3%pa mortgage, I go to Halifax who offers me 2%pa and get to keep the lot.

All my SXX shares are now in my ISA so the J curve can finally start its upward movement, sorry for the wait guys.

Is it not Gina that would benefit from sxx not receiving funding so the other banks/financiers involved would only benefit from fees & interest received after sxx are granted funding?

The bond market uptake must be plentiful with a potential 7% return with today’s rates. Sign me up please.

Nice indeed, however I need it to stay below 22p so I can finally have all my SXX shares in an ISA. 5 tax year allowances squished in.

For every sell there is a buyer and for every buy there is a sell....
Shorts opening would show as sells.
Could be another good time to top up just like after the drop from BDT selling.
