£1billion profit divided by 10billion shares would get you a 10p divi, 2029 debt free, give or take a couple billion or so to get 20mtpa. Very much in realms of possibility.

Time is indeed ticking however did SXX not pre-qualify the IPA.

The reason for choosing the alternative finance was clear, money/time restrictions.

If the SP gets to 40p you’ve x4 your money from here. I’d say that is worth it from any investment. Even over a 10year outlook now..... whether you invested now is a different question.

Quick maths I know.
PI’s have historical love to pile into SXX when potential good news is around the corner.
I remember pre-planning the SP was languishing at 7p (after a few dramas) then sentiment started bubbling and the share price was in the high teens before the decision. Could see some similar actions next week. Enjoy the bank holiday!

Or, DGR, the anticipation of September as only 4 trading days left...sentiment is a funny thing.

Take the blinkers off, finance isn’t the only risk.

I’ll go with a modest £2.2billion that’s 80% discount for the £11billNPV even though I think finance funded and what construction has been conducted will be more than 20% risk negated.
It’s rare to see true value in the SP. (that would be 31p with 7 bill shares.)

Interesting what rises can occur from small volume
£12k being the largest buy. 7million shares of 1.446billion shares traded. So less that 0.5% of shares in issue.
This has the ability to move very quickly with some real volume.

Citi adjusting their holdings again. Further shares bought but now no equity swap on the 3rd of September. Further confidence for long shares?
