I initially thought this was a good FO deal, I now think it is a superb deal.
Why? Well Spirit is not only funding the drilling but will be the operator. HUR cannot be an operator without employing loads of contractors. Also, HUR have said they do not want to become a Producer.
So, if the hoped for TO does not happen, due to a continued buyers strike, then HUR get 50% revenue from GWA oil production for doing nothing. What is not too like? Better to have 50% of something than 100% of nothing. Do not forget HUR need revenue and with GWA income plus profits from GLA will put HUR in an incredibly strong financial position.
Sure, if a TO happens then Spirit makes a killing and good look to them. But, then HUR will also be well rewarded and also us shareholders.
I see this FO with Spirit as part of the defence plan that Dr T has mentioned previously to endure we do not get TO on the cheap.

Looks like the SP fell because of 2 large sells needing to be processed, seems to be recovering now.

Stunned the SP is not much higher. A FO shows the world that the oil experts agree that HUR is not talking nonsense and goes a long way to proving the doubters wrong. I'm holding for a much higher SP.

I saw the info recently about the OGA permit being applied for, by Bluewater I think.

Hook up of AM to buoy needs 6hrs with waves no more than 2m as per HUR.

Xxnjr1 at 23.52 yesterday, from ADVFN posted info upon the % of waves over 2m using a wave modelling tool. Oct over 60%, Nov over 80%, Dec over 90%, Jan over 90% and Feb over 80%.

If this is indicative of 2m plus waves will be tricky, but i guess not impossible, to find a suitable weather window during Nov to Feb. As xxjnr1 said, down to the weather God's

Anyway, here's hoping for an October arrival of the FPSO and hook up.

I recognise you may have a valid point but there are acceptable ways of speaking to people and unacceptable ways.

NV due at Lerwick 2am tomorrow. Is this the start of SURF? If so it is much quicker than Dr T' s statement in the recent last RNS of SURF starting in a few weeks time.

Great to have the mooring RNS. However, the comment from Dr T saying the SURF ops to start in the 'coming weeks' concerns me. It needs to be sooner than that or HUR could risk being behind schedule, as the SURF install window is Q3 as per the Q3 presentation.
Whether it really matters much if it runs into October, I'm not sure?
