This is about to explode like a champagne cork! Other analogies could be used but some are rather crude?
Diego55 are you the guy that's on a rig near the AM. I presume you can see this through your binoculars. Please confirm , many thanks.
Has someone seen a flare !?
Is the GD picking up the rope at Stavanger in Norway?
With the SP rising I am guessing there is a massive buy order in the background being filled to gobble up these sells.
AM taking on fuel, see Vesselfinder, as tanker Jo next to AM.
With this massive oil price drop and the HUR share price being trashed I think it puts the Spirit deal into perspective.
I have always viewed it as positive result but now think it was a masterstroke.
No worries of raising funds for 2019 drilling ventures, just let Spirit get on with it.
Bank the funds, at a potentially lower oil price, which is still good at even 40 dollars a barrel, and wait out the stormy markets while proving up our hopefully massive resources.
Thanks for Route Forecast info.
Unfortunately the Marine Traffic details when I view the AM info has are no mention of Suez. Just at Dubai and At Anchor and Under Repair?
Thank goodness no apparent issues with AM underway.
We do not need a stock market crash and an AM breakdown.
Now can relax and have my toast and marmalade!
AM now showing stopped, was worried about NOT UNDER COMMAND, hopefully all is well
This is the title of a Madness song 'our house in the middle of our street' . Nice ear worm for you!
With the AM not moving is this the first timescale missed by HUR?
Hopefully no damage to the SP on Monday and hopefully a sail away soon.
Be good to have an RNS explanation of why target date missed. Hopefully something like extra work being carried out due to the Spirit deal rather than problems.
Happy to have egg on my face if the AM sails away later today!

Thanks for posting the link.
2 major issues with it as far as i am concerned. All Atlantic's fault in my view.
Bottom of page 2 it states the cost of the EPS is a major issue to overcome? Well that's wrong as money has already been raised so poor research by Atlantic and gives a poor impression to investors about potential fund issues which will cause worries.
Page 4 summary it talks about production cost of $40 dollars a barrel?! Way to high surely, again giving a bad impression to new investors.
Or am I wrong?
Is $10 a barrel realistic for oil in the ground? Great if it is, seems high to me. Anybody got examples of what a Major has previously paid but I guess complexity of extraction comes into it so going to be rather difficult to get a suitable comparison. However a range of examples could be helpful to give a guide. I think I need to do some more research.
For what it's worth my SP range on a successful Lancaster EPS is a miserly £1 to £2 including decent results from Spirit Well ops. So much lower than MS, but what do I know?!
Agree with Ricfle recent points about AM, annoyed it has not sailed and looking like early October sail away to me. Also agree with Ghengis as Sprucegoose2 highlighted. HUR still on target!
Frustrated with the SP, looking at it too much I guess. Like many others I cannot understand the SP being below 60p?
Morgan Stanley SP view is the type of advertisement we need more of, to get the story to a wider audience.
My hopefull guess is the SP will just splike unexpectedly nearer to FOIL as latecomers buy in.
Trying to be patient and glad I got through the 20p days 1 year ago without panic. Well not too much!
Hi DC
Thanks for your post, I have actually seen posts on LSE about naming of the fields after WW2 aircraft, you may have missed them. However, the Strathmore one is new to me and you may well be correct. Appreciate your post.
Cheers
JD
Yes, I remember reading something on Strathmore, along the lines of what you have said and wondered why HUR have it in their portfolio as it's not FB. It does seem odd to me. However, if it can be used as part of a deal with PMO then all well and good. We can only hope.
WWN
You have certainly wetted my appetite for a deal with PMO to utilise Solan for a future Well tie back and also a Strathmore deal.
I will be very disappointed now if this does not happen, as such deals would be ideal to boost the SP.
Ricfle, thanks for that post, a good read.
My simple view is that the Spirit deal is a good one, it just keeps HUR secure at what could be an awkward time e.g. if delays or problems happen. Speeds up monetisation and hopefully a TO so I can cash in my million shares.
