The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Nobby I have to say it's really good to hear that you are now relatively confident about your investment here. I know the stresses we have all been under over the past few years and I hope your optimism is bringing you some relief at long last! :)

Lots of interesting questions posed by the 2 MPs who dislike Team Resolute. If answered (many due to be answered today and tomorrow) then we could get some decent info. I suspect however that many can't be answered until contract is signed.
One good one ... When will the contract be awarded? My view is it's this side of Christmas.

I thought the conservative MP gave really good responses. I just can't understand why the labour MPs are up in arms over this. It has to be due to lobbying by bae, Bab and the unions. Their attitude seems to be eff everyone else and all other parts of the UK, we want Scottish yards to benefit and so what if they never complete on time and go way over budget!
Gla :)
Not got a clue Stokey sorry. However I would expect the govt to be quite favourable with the calculation in team resolutes favour - you know how govt departments like to spend our money haha.
Important to keep up to speed with the day to day stuff Chris, thank you :)
Well what a result! Finally our investment is secured. Well done to all investors and thanks all for contributions since the dark days when many times it seemed we were on our last legs.
Congrats to JW and team too - clearly a strategy that's now working.
I'm going to sit back and enjoy the SP rise and await institutional investment. Oh, and the ML in Jan! And Scillonian 4 ;)
Gla and happy days
Hi chuggley, we will be in line for significant subcontractor work if team UK get it. We will be in for an even bigger prize if team resolute (our main bid) get it. Look for articles on team UK bid on the navy lookout website. That confirms it as does the CEOs recent interview with lse
I know we are all here to make money (which hopefully is just starting to happen with FSS etc) but I can't help but feel a sense of pride for what the company has done for Appledore. And the other sites. Administration or on maintenance were the order of the day for these yards. We certainly aren't technically out of the woods until break even etc but that's just a matter of time. I bet the locals are well happy seeing the yards alive and kicking again. Well done all and onwards and upwards
Gla and p.s. no dawski hasn't highjacked my log in :p
Yes I did cheers. For anyone interested here's a link to watch it on. Question 10 and 24 will be of interest
