GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
Hi Razor, I appreciate where you are coming from and admit the tone of some of my questions were somewhat tongue in cheek. However, the company is a plc and therefore must stand up to and answer any scrutiny by its shareholders. Worded differently these are legitimate questions I want the answers to. The BOD is accountable to its shareholders, and I want them to answer my questions which ultimately centre around shareholder value
1) when are you and Arun going to purchase more shares to align yourselves more with shareholder's. Suggestion is to use some of the bonus received lately
2) why should I invest more money in the open offer, above current share price? And what measures will you be putting in place to protect and increase the share price value so my investment isn't money down the drain?
3) what value, other than making the decision to pay your bonus in cash, rather than shares, does the current chairman bring to the company?
4) how many notifiable contract wins will require a performance bond, and will this result in more placings?
Anyone got any others?
Haha, no scorn from me bud and yes maybe taking a leaf out of the JW handbook is the best way to go! :D
Cheers very much for your thoughts on the premium bonus. I think the general view is that going forward as the company progresses, the requirement for such things as a result of a placing will diminish.
Re the open offer, it's a bit of a double edged sword. I can buy below the issue price now, or take up the open offer and put money directly into the company thereby helping to reduce (or delay) a placing in the future. One helps the company and me (hopefully!)...the other just helps me. Decisions decisions. Have a great weekend all
Cheers razor, hoping the circular might provide some detail... should be on the website from today
Thanks for your reply razor...
"Maybe if there is some significantly prestigious contracts we need further money to prepare us to bid for - but it's all in support of the company's growth"
And it is this which I want clarification on. We are supposedly after multiple prestigious contracts, so what will be the premium amounts needed for these and how will they be funded?
Perhaps I won't receive the answer from the company. I don't want to invite more replies of, well why don't you just sell up then and stop moaning! Lol. It is a genuine concern from a lth and I feel the company at least should give me the courtesy of an answer so I can see if yet more of my money invested will become diluted.
Thanks and all the best
P.p.s...can we assume or discount the fact that a premium (and therefore potential placing) will be needed for every single "major" contract?
Interesting debates going on today by all. Some new and informative posters joining in too. Amongst all the debate I don't seem to see much being addressed in terms of any future placings. Can anybody in the know advise whether or not further placings will be needed in order to win higher value contracts? If that's the case, is the premium a proportionate amount of the contract won? E.g. if, a big if, we get the 350 mill vessel contract, what size of placing for the premium will we need for that?? I have asked the company but as yet have not received a reply. In my view, this is the crux of the matter right now for all shareholder's. Depending on the answer we either sit, wait and be happy....or, we get diluted into oblivion forever and a day. So, does anybody know the answer? Speedy, if you are still reading, my continued involvement depends on this issue alone. P.S. I will be completely miffed if JW and Arun don't put any of the bonus money into share purchases asap!
Hi Speedy
It's very true to say there has been some absence of lth comments, myself included. For me I was letting the dust settle and gathering my thoughts. I am deeply concerned about the future requirements to hold similar, sizeable, performance bonds. Like tango asks...how much are these going to be for the 100 mill plus contracts?? It's something I have sought clarification on. I fear infa will be a success but completely at the expense of us PI"s. JW needs to explain if this type of placing is required on all major contracts going forward and why we should be putting more money into the open offer. Speedy, it's a n utter shame you are jumping ship, I have gained much from your research and enjoyed your debates with the nimby's on twitter. Good luck and all the best, Jabido
Sorry that came across a bit doom and gloom lol. Gavin Robinson would be my first choice. Have no views on anyone else but ultimately I don't think this will impact infa either way
How will this impact infa? Get Gavin Robinson in who has previously advocated h&w in parliament and I think we might be ok
Saw similar from same tweeter. Fss still up for grabs but being a friendly disruptor looks a bit glum when Bab****/Scotland is being handed future ship designs and work on a plate. Hope I'm wrong!
Hi mcadder thanks for posting, was the source the mirror? If we forget the noise and focus on what the minister says, it is a huge positive and signal towards team resolute. I pointed this out as a section within the defence industrial strategy when it was released. I think these campaigners (including unions) who have stated they must be built British do not yet understand what team resolute has to offer for British jobs. Thanks for posting and thanks all for sharing chart info
Well said Nobby.... let's hope Mr Poots shares that vision!
It's interesting that the bifab contract to build the jackets collapsed due to the company not having enough working capital to carry out the job before getting paid (happy to be corrected if I've misinterpreted). So, the fact we have now secured the contract means our working capital (or access to funds) position is far healthier. In my muddled post I guess I'm trying to say that it looks like our finances are pretty decent at the mo and perhaps JW was correct in stating the previous couple of placings have assisted in securing big work.. something I was becoming increasingly sceptical about
For all us long term sufferers, let this be just the beginning. Happy Friday everyone :)
Seconded ttny. Lottie, is it telling us we are going to the moon?! I remember you saying close above 42 would be great
Thanks for the link Stokey...you certainly have a healthy obsession with line of duty! Re the video, yes interesting but mainly backs up the strategy of diversifying the yards across the 5 sectors. With all these options for work it's about time we started getting rns worthy contracts
Missed it Stokey...did you watch? Anything decent from it?
Encouraging update and great to know regular updates will be forthcoming from now. Updates are the lifeblood of aim companies. Even if infa don't know, can guarantee as soon as anything is made public (leaked?) the protesters will be all over twitter be it good or bad news for us. So watch this space and no doubt we will know very soon what the recommendation is
