Surprised that SP has not risen today given that EKF still own 4.5% of RENX which has risen more than 18% today following an agreement with US veterans and other government departments.
I've cashed in my chips today for Clipper. Made a good profit but enough is enough and save for a takeover I think it is overpriced.
Compare the stats with Wincanton. Latter has a P/E of 17, net profit of £43.8 mill and capitalisation of £510 mill.
Clipper has P/E of 33, made profits of 16.2 mill and is capitalised at £630 mill.
Which is the better value and which is more likely to improve its shareprice?
My bets are on Wincanton.
Anyone know what's happening at Trellus health. Is it a wholly owned subsid of Renx at present?.
Have got 605 shares in my HL account and it does not seem to be listed anywhere.
Help!
What's with the market this am?
Why are they selling on such a great performance, even ahead of its November trading statement?
Made the mistake of buying more this am, but have added even more at just under 74p.
I await for sanity to return.
High BBD - Results look pretty good to me. However a muted reaction from the market so far. Perhaps they were only in line with forecast expectations.
I used to be able to access that information via digittalook/sharecast.com but they stopped that a few weeks ago. Bit miffed at that. Anyone else know where you can get it from?
Wincanton is flying on the wings of Clipper at the moment, the latter SP having taken off recently and whose P/E and market cap is well in excess of Wincanton. I hold both so am enjoying the ride.
