Surprised that SP has not risen today given that EKF still own 4.5% of RENX which has risen more than 18% today following an agreement with US veterans and other government departments.

I've cashed in my chips today for Clipper. Made a good profit but enough is enough and save for a takeover I think it is overpriced.
Compare the stats with Wincanton. Latter has a P/E of 17, net profit of £43.8 mill and capitalisation of £510 mill.
Clipper has P/E of 33, made profits of 16.2 mill and is capitalised at £630 mill.
Which is the better value and which is more likely to improve its shareprice?

My bets are on Wincanton.

Morningstar quotes full year results as being on 13 April.

Why are they selling on such a great performance, even ahead of its November trading statement?

High BBD - Results look pretty good to me. However a muted reaction from the market so far. Perhaps they were only in line with forecast expectations.

The SP is now lower than before the muted bid having reached 435 yesterday.

This was tipped by The Naked Trader on 10th this month, hence rise over last few days. Am thinking of dipping a toe in but not sure at this price.

This is a very smart little niche company working in a sector which is all in favor at the moment and one which is likely to be snapped up in the not too distant future imv.
