Chaco Resources Plc reports that the Operator of the Primavera Block in the Llanos Basin of Colombia, Gran Tierra Energy, has secured a contract for a drilling rig to drill two wells in this block. The Operator has advised that a drilling contract has been signed with Drilling and Workover Services on Dec 21st and has forecast a spud date late in the first quarter of 2007, for the first well, Cachapa 1.

Sorry for the late answer. You find all the necessary information on: http://www.uruguayminerals.com/. They have some delays in Arenal but their discovery´s in the South Vein and the San Gregoria East are full of promise. I also like their step into Argentina. Bought these in May 2005 on TSX (UME) because it´s less expensive, sold 1/2 stock too early for the big profit, made only 40%. Maybe your right to top up now. Thanks for reminding me, because of the decline in sp last month´s it went a little out of my sight. I try an order 1000 sh on monday. Nice weekend.

Don´t know how long your in this one. I bought in Mai at 0.19 and sold 1/2 stock (500000) in September at 0.30. And I never pray, cross fingers or knock on my head.

Contract with Glencore International AG The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. announces that on 6 October 2006 a contract was entered into between KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. and Glencore International AG for the sale of cathodes during the period January 2007 - June 2008. The value of the contract is estimated at USD 307 295.0 thousand, i.e. PLN 951 600.4 thousand. The value of the contract was estimated based on the forecast copper price (using a forward curve) and the National Bank of Poland exchange rate of 5 October 2006. The criteria used for describing the contract as significant is that the value of the contract exceeds 10% of the equity of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

The Primavera block, in which we will earn a 55% interest, was acquired after the year end and features a series of undrilled leads and structures that had previously been mapped. Drilling close to this block has revealed a number of oil shows, but most early wells do not appear to have been drilled within structural closure. It is expected that two targets will be selected for drilling late in 2006.
