Chaco Reports Dry Hole in Colombia Chaco Resources Plc Thursday, April 05, 2007 Chaco Resources Plc said that drilling on the Cachapa well on the Primavera block in the Llanos Basin in Colombia has completed. The well, which was operated by Gran Tierra Energy, was drilled to 3,551ft into basement. It did not encounter commercial quantities of hydrocarbons and has been plugged and abandoned. Chaco Resources had a 55% interest in the well. The Company has gained some valuable experience and information which will be used within its Related Pictures Llanos Basin, Colombia (Click to Enlarge) portfolio. The drilling rig will shortly be moved to the Sayona-1 location within the Primavera Block. Chaco and its partners, Gran Tierra Energy Colombia and Expet SA applied for the Primavera contract in September 2005, approximately a year and a half before the present management team assumed control of Chaco. The current exploration phase terminates in May 2007.

announcement 2 April 2007 Net asset value at 31 March 2007 The Directors report a 16% increase of £2.1m in the value of the Starvest portfolio since 31 December 2006, the date of the last quarterly update. The net asset value based on mid-market closing prices on Friday 30 March 2007 was £15.4m, which equates to 37.7 pence per share, an increase of 5.44 pence per share since 31 December. All values are calculated on a fully diluted pre tax basis. During the quarter, the Starvest share price has risen from 17 pence to close at 26.5 pence; the discount to net asset value at 31 March 2007 was 29.7%. Interim statement The Board plans to issue a full interim statement on 12 April 2007. Placed an 10000 sh offer at 39p. Thougt the Shangai-shuffle should do the work and made a 30 km walk to see some green after all the red. It feels good. Checking out the order I see he is still hanging and I missed today´s green. Now I´m double dog tired.
