RM has got you bunch of numpties to take advice from. How many of you are CEO of a multi multi million £ company again.... Gang of know-it-alls. If you cant sit on your hands then head on over to T212 and play with the CFDs.
Can someone explain why people are getting hung up on these alleged % claims by the vaccines manufacturers? As far as I know these aren't trial results. SNG could claim to have 100% efficacy if they wanted. It is all smoke and mirrors. Literally the space race 2.0
So we all knew a vaccine was happening and will eventually come to market (probably before us) so why has everyone flapped?
Nothing here is any different. There is a need for SNG001 unless a vaccine has 100% success rate. And even if this miracle does happen, the world is 50/50 with antivaxxers at the min due to lack of trust in the government.
The flu has a vaccine but there is still a market for lemsip....
Did everyone switch off before the appendices!! Few things to take from this IMO
- AIM is so effing corrupt - Now we can see why the share price was walked down to daft levels :
"The Issue Price of 175 pence per share represents a discount of approximately 4.1 per cent. to the volume-weighted average price of an Ordinary Share for the ten day period up to and including 14 October 2020 (being the latest practicable date prior to this Announcement)."
- Synairgen has had a positive pre-IND meeting with the U.S. FDA for SNG001 for a Phase III study for the treatment of COVID-19. A pre-IND meeting provides an opportunity for an open communication between the sponsor and the FDA to discuss the IND development plan and to obtain the FDA's guidance on clinical studies for the sponsor's new drug candidate.
- On 14 October 2020 the Company was informed by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) that the Phase III trial has been badged in the UK as Urgent Public Health and will be recognised as a National Priority study. Notwithstanding this, the commencement of the trial will still be subject to normal regulatory and ethical approvals.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Synairgen has been approached by, and is in discussion with, a number of other medical, scientific, and Governmental bodies (both in the UK, US and internationally) seeking to investigate novel therapeutics in this area.
Emphasis on Governmental bodies (both in the UK, US and internationally)
@joey - exactly my sentiment. I’m in Liverpool and its disgusting how Steve Rotheram has accepted “assurances” of financial support. A rebellion is much needed.
In other news good to see us on the rise
Wow. People here give Sky too much credit. Even if he did mention SNG, Interferons, 78% or any of thealike, if it doesn’t fit their agenda for the article then it won’t get printed..
The interesting thing to take from it, is that he has been approached by Sky. Something is brewing..
IMVHO, SNG is one of those rare stocks.
If you want to day trade do it over at GNUS, or SPI, or any other blatent pump and dump.
If you are happy to make 10-20% and sell, do it at BP, or Lloyds, or a large FTSE company which is alot safer (or so we would assume)
If you want to be involved in one of those rare stocks that can change lives, medically and financially then hold your horses and p/ss off worrying about daily share prices.
This isnt a once in a lifetime opportunity by any stretch but has the potentially to do some good in the world as well as enabling many here to retire early or lay the foundations to build more wealth.
Parsley, unless you bought in yesterday then this stock is derisked to some extent.
That coupled with the fact that large II have invested at substantially higher than this indicates that this has got legs to come. These companies don’t place their bets and spin the wheel. They are tactically chosen stocks.
For reference I bought in at 70p, bought all the way down to 40ish, then two top ups for me; one the week after manic monday at around 156p and the day after COPD results at 195p. Sitting on 88p average now.
In the last two months we have had the below:
- positive COVID Trial
- positive interim COPD Trial
- Half decent financial report
- Announcement of partnership for MAP
- the MD stating his intentions in interviews
That is GOOD NEWS averging around every two weeks.
What the f*ck is wrong with people on here. The SP should be near 300p now as we have done nothing but release positive news since the COVID results. This is all a market blip so lets not worry.
SNG is almost fully de-risked IMO and is now a waiting game
