I was a big believer in GH, but I just couldn't ignore his constant scratching of his nose in interviews, especially with his US political consultancy past. Although it was not the primary reason I sold in the Spring, but more on a valuation basis with no hits at that point.

of a UK road with the G+ upgraded asphalt super modifier containing Directa

The trial in Curbridge, Oxfordshire will see the laying of an asphalt concrete
with a proprietary innovative graphene-enhanced super modifier and will
involve the refurbishment of the two upper layers of a 750m long section of
road. The trial is being conducted with the co-operation of Oxfordshire
County Council and the prime contractor is Skanska AB, a multinational
construction company.
 
The trial, comparing asphalt concrete with the super modifier to a traditional
asphalt surfacing, will assess; service life; resistance to the passage of
vehicles; resistance to deformation; and permanent plastic deformation. This
follows on from the Company's previously announced successful trials in Italy.
 
The graphene-enhanced super modifier is the result of a three-year research
program with a patent filed in 2017. New technologies such as the super
modifier has the potential to vastly improve the quality of road surfaces
throughout Europe and the wider world.
 
Once laid, asphalt concrete with super modifier can be 100 per cent recycled,
which can reduce the extraction of new materials from quarries and first-use
bitumen.

With the approval of Oxfordshire County Council, Skanska is laying an asphalt concrete with a proprietary graphene-enhanced super modifier to refurbish the two upper layers of a 750-metre long section of road.

The trial is being led by Directa Plus, a producer and supplier of graphene-based products for use in consumer and industrial markets, and Iterchimica, an Italian based producer of asphalt additives.

The trial is using G+ upgraded asphalt super modifier containing Directa Plus G+ graphene. The graphene-enhanced super modifier is branded Gipave.

It will compare the asphalt concrete with the super modifier to a traditional asphalt surfacing. The researchers will assess service life, resistance to traffic, resistance to deformation and permanent plastic deformation (rutting). A previous trial of the material has been conducted in Italy.

The earlier Italian tests suggested that the use of Gipave improved service life-fatigue resistance by more than 250%. Resistance to the passage of vehicles-mechanical tests showed an indirect tensile strength increase of 35%. Resistance to deformation at the same load-stiffness modulus was measured at different temperatures, showing an improvement of 46% at 40°C. And permanent plastic deformation was 35% lower at 60°C.

Super-tough roads built using graphene will be laid in Britain for the first time under plans to eradicate potholes.

The material being trialled in Oxfordshire should extend the lifespan of the road and prevent cracks emerging during cold and wet weather.

The first UK trial of the Italian-designed material, which is being laid over the next ten days, will test its ability to withstand the demands of a British winter when most potholes appear.

An observation...the Nant RNS this morning shows the placing shares went into their Indirect holding as what happened when he bought out the original partners. His purchases on market have gone to into their Direct holding. No conclusion to be made on this.

As for funds they raised in the placement(£7.24m), that didn't just cover the Setcar investment, but also covers other company expenditure, including company working capital. So the OO cash wasn't required to drive the company forward, or fund the Setcar acquisition and growth.
