I expect the light touchpaper moment will be when Iterchimica start commercial sales of Gipave this year. This product has all the hallmarks of a herd attractor, based on the world's opinion of potholes, as long as the results continue as they have been. Could be quite a frenzy here; well that's my expectations.

GREEN.TEX is a project aimed at reducing the environmental impact of printing on fabric through the use of an advanced material: the goal is to develop an innovative digital printing process with water-based graphene ink. The use of digital machines will significantly reduce the environmental impact, in particular with regards to saving water, energy and the production of chemical waste. The research will favor ecological fabrics, in particular synthetic fabrics obtained from the recycling chain that fall within the paradigm of "circular economy". Regional contribution granted: € 425,835.04.

The early results from the first section laid in Rome in 2018, as announced by the company, confirm laboratory tests.

"The performance of the road surface has been constantly monitored since November 2018.

The trial, comparing asphalt concrete with the super modifier to a traditional asphalt surfacing, was successful in all respects. Service life was increased by over 250 per cent; resistance to the passage of vehicles showed an increase of 35 per cent; resistance to deformation at the same load showed an improvement of 46 per cent at 40degC; and, rutting values (tracks left by tyres) were 35 per cent lower at 60degC."

So now they are testing 6 sites. 2 x Rome, 2 x Milan, bergarmo and UK.
