There are no ships on the Carapa drill site(07 °36' N 057 °16' W). Both support ships( GH Challenger & GH Navigator) have only just left Trinidad. So spudding within the week.

The interims the other day also mentioned an Airport and the UK still being on target for 2019 :

I like Page 7, as it shows new targets in the Upper Tertiary, especially Malone.

CPR was expecting mid(best) estimate of 48.75m; came in at 55m

low was 39.4m, high was 102m

They should've just drilled a cretaceous target. They pat themselves on the back wrt their analytical interpretation of the data, so why not go for it. Then again, they are constrained by the slow pace of the old folk at TLW! Only 2 wells next year in Guyana(TLW new presentation)...WTF

Please someone buy TLW out. ECO have the cash to drill, yet TLW are conscious of their debt(although paying a dividend...don't let me go there).

Although they do need time to interpret the results, but it shouldn't take that long, as like they say it's as expected(or is it?)

The 14m / 16m difference between announcements needs clarifying by ECO. Operator says 14m. Why are ECO stating more?

Anyway, Joe was just a side show; it's all about the cretaceous, with Jethro as a big bonus, with the addition of other lower tertiary prospects.

Mid (best) estimate for Joe in the CPR was net 30m(40m gross) - Page 89 of CPR.
So 16m was just over half of mid, although less than half of mid if you take TLW's 14m then announced.

Low estimate was 12m net(20m gross), so 33% ahead of low estimate

Gil was right in the Vox markets interview, it was between CPR estimate range.

Low estimate of resource was 58.4m bbls, mid(best) was 138m bbls

So with better porosity than expected, probably somewhere around 70-80m bbls would be my guess.

I tried on Friday, but couldn't get a quote until 1.50. Then as it dipped, could get a quote at 1.46, but wasn't comfortable on that valuation for Jethro/Hammerhead and a successful Joe. So missed out. Yes I'm aware of the potential Cretaceous, of which half will be derisked on a successful Carapa :-)

Don't hold any atm, but very happy for others being successful here.

Ranger-2 is an appraisal, but appraisals don't always hit.

Don't think so based on the fact that there are no vessels in the areas, although the Rowan EXL II drilling platform doesn't seem to have any history on marine traffic. But I'd expect other support ships to be onsite.

MARAD dates tend to be at around a week too early of actual drilling
