Novum have moved onto the bid at 0.85. Why interesting? Because they did our recent placement. They had 165mill shares to get rid of.... and now they are lead buyer and want shares ;-) They know more than most, given there role in the placement. Exciting times :-) IG

Exciting news thanks to poster on advfn - Sirius have begun building the team for the drill. Several new employee over the last few months. Must be just a matter of days till we get news that the rig is on route. That fact alone will be a huge step for the company and will signal the beginning of the next very positive phase. IG

I fear I could be caught short (as is usual with me) by news/impatience - as this week half my shares are on another brief holiday in SRSP land. We'll see. Might turn out a good decision if the manipulators take this down to 30 again. And rig news is due any day on SRSP (hence the trade) Anyway - here's the 'news' ... Reuters are showing a 10.6mill share increase in ii holding! There's no way that happened on the market this week! Must be one side of a transfer. Could support my previous guess that BOA/SG are gradually taking shares from another ii. The amounts (4.04% / 10.64m) don't help me to see which ii or make any sensible deductions at this stage. Hi maestro. Yep. Cost $500k to renew last time. Key thing for a government dept when awarding a licence is confidence of a drill. Srsp are fully funded. Rig contract with cosl. Drill management with Schlumberger. Offtake agreement with BP etc etc. No real risk with srsp. Best of luck with aaog. IG

I've emailed and asked the company this exact question an didn't get an answer. IF you guys did get an answer then it's very wrong that this was not put in an RNS. Beyond that - Sefton cannot know this. They are appling for a licence - it's taken months more than they expected (so far) - whether they will get it and what it will cost cannot be known at this stage. Totally unprofessional way to operate - speculating with individual investors, whatever next. You lot would be understandably furious if you find out that they dont get the new licence or that it costs millions (that they don't have!) IG

After an rns saying 'licence news expected by year end' ... still no update to investors is simply insulting. Not to mention very worrying. IG

Sounding off - by that logic, everyone's comments are for their own gain!! I'm honestly not fussed by this share. I have no position and although I'd take a punt at 7p - it would not be a lot of money. As I've said before, my main interests (and only holdings) are in SRSP & MTFB. Both appropriately boring for a large investment. This is more fun here :-) IG

Sounding off - I had that option before and didn't buy. When the sp was sub 10p previously, i posted that, with all the information we currently have, I would potentially buy some at about 7p but no higher. Nothing that has happened since has changed my view (obviously). It's a huge punt now - if the licence is declined the the mcap will immediately drop to �1.5mill. Maybe less. (2p ish) I'm not warning anyone anything - everyone makes their own decisions and I have no information that's not available elsewhere. I'm here to discuss the share/company as is the purpose of the forum! Maybe you'd rather have a one sided discussion? More rampathon from Maestro and Sonnyboy? IG

The previous licence cost circa $5! What a waste! They still have 2 years left and that blocks anyone else drilling there for 2 years. The new licence will be cheaper as it will lilkely have a clause to say that - if there is no drill in a year or 2 then the remainder of the licence is revoked (that's quite normal). Big oil are obviously not interested in this licence area (or they would have snapped it up) so congo are better to have someone drill rather that leave it sat doing nothing - as success would generate revenue for them too, There will be costs for the new licence and they need to prove that they can fund a drill before they will be issued a licence. Hence the fund raise will come first IMO. Completely agree that the new team were brought in to try and secure the licence. Also agree that comms are appalling and that no news is bad news in this case. How can you RNS "expecting licence sorted by end Dec" - and then not update shareholders in the whole of Jan! The next RNS will inevitably be smothered in 'jam tomorrow' but will be a painful short term read for shareholders. JMO IG
