29th July 2025 Rathlin Energy (UK) Ltd update on environment agency permit variation application to conduct a reservoir stimulation

In July 2024, Rathlin Energy (UK) Limited made an application to the Environment Agency (EA) to vary the permits to include a hydrocarbon-based reservoir stimulation within the conventional Kirkham Abbey reservoir in the existing West Newton A-2 well. Consent to conduct a reservoir stimulation is required from the NSTA which ensures all other regulatory approvals are in place prior to giving consent for the operation.

16th February 2026 Important Update: Environment Agency Issues Permit Variation

Rathlin Energy (UK) Limited (“Rathlin”) is pleased to announce that the Environment Agency has issued the variation to the permit for the West Newton ‘A’ Well Site to include for a reservoir stimulation in the WNA-2 well, subject to pre-operational conditions.

This key regulatory milestone clears a major hurdle in the company’s path toward development and eventual production at West Newton, strengthening Rathlin’s ability to advance its UK onshore assets within a responsible environmental and social governance framework.

Proquo it's my understanding that WN needs a final green light from the nsta, obviously the nsta is aware of the 30.06.26 deadline so they will either give the go-ahead very soon or in due course with an extension (or not at all).

wrt to Colle Santo, Beacon seems quite bullish about the timeframe for ministerial approval, bearing in mind EIA permission took 2 years longer than RBD's original estimate, I suspect we are 6-9 months away

- they have previously stated Wressle expansion would require £3.7m to cover their 30% which means £5m for ujo, I see little chance of ujo finding £5m

Why should anyone believe a word of today's RNS when Reach & UJO clearly cant progress their current JVs?

The last placing was to raise USD3m for a trio of strippers, they only managed to raise £2m and that required the inducement of warrants (for the first time). In doing so they crashed the sp from 8.75p to well below the placing price of 5p, finally bottoming our at 2p.

And what are they promising? more of the same, more strippers with a partner that couldn't schedule Christmas on time.

I should add that Kedd was fully offline from June 2024 so £38k was only the 2025 spend, even so, £160k doesnt go a long way

Finals - 'Following a major upgrade of site facilities and infrastructure during 2025, Keddington was brought back on-line in June 2025...'

Development and Production assets comprise amounts capitalised as follows:

so ujo's 55% share of "major upgrades" at Kedd was just £20'697, or £37'631 for the JV.

How can any oil company - big or small - spend just £38k on "major upgrades"?

Unfortunately Bramhill expects to reduce the par value (Res 10) which will allow him to have another placing, which means more reckless strippers

(sharecast news) - union jack oil reported a full-year loss for 2025 on tuesday, after impairments on several uk assets, as revenue fell and the company continued its strategic shift towards the us. the aim-traded uk and us-focused onshore hydrocarbon company said oil and gas revenue fell to £2.5m for the year ended 31 december, from £3.9m in 2024. gross profit declined to £691,001 from £2.0m. union jack reported a net loss of £7.0m, compared with a profit of £649,213 a year earlier, reflecting impairments related to biscathorpe, north kelsey and sark. basic losses per share was 5.68p, compared with earnings per share of 0.61p in 2024. the company said it remained debt-free at year end.

executive chairman david bramhill said the board was confident that union jack's transition of focus to the us would continue to drive growth. in the uk, he said the company would remain focused on wressle, its flagship project, where the operator and joint venture partners have appraisal and development programmes planned. bramhill said the work would focus in particular on unlocking proven oil and gas reserves in the *****tone flags formation. he said the board believed there was "significant upside" at wressle, which could support union jack with revenues for at least another decade.

..this is where he drifts into stand-up comedy...

bramhill said increased drilling, appraisal and development activity being evaluated across the company's uk and us portfolios had the potential to create "notable value" for shareholders. he added that higher activity, expected news flow and investor engagement in both the uk and us should help maintain support from existing shareholders and broaden the company's appeal to new investors.

It's more than ten of millions from shareholders, it's also $24m from Wressle, a couple of million from Kedd and maybe $2m from strippers & Royalties - it takes a lot of failure (and gravy) to end up with a couple of million squid in the bank

Bramhill was paid £325k in 2024 and AGAIN in 2025 despite a 36% drop in revenue, the sp dropping from 9.25p to 2.2p at year end and a huge loss.... he must be voted out!

RBD has been massively ramping gas to Bitcoin at WN for months...yet not a single mention of it in our Finals

Fyi - ujo's Finals state ujo's 1/6 of WN cost £237k in 2025 which means the JV spent £1.422m in 2025
