Odins I'm invested in a company called Trident Royalties, they went for a dual listing and it was days before a single US trade went through - not sure how actively the US listing is all these month later but the sp has gone backwards
Techno it's an exciting time for UJO and well done to DB for trying something new but as others have said what about our UK assets, specifically what the hell is going on at Keddington? It was definitely going to be side-tracked in H2 2023 but wasn't...only silence. Shareholders deserve an explanation and a new timetable
Bramhill has not disclosed how much money was made although he did suggest it was very profitable - we will find out when they publish the 2023 accounts next month. btw the price paid for the Royalty was less than the accrued value, presumably because the seller was tired of waiting to be paid by the oil company.
Bramhill is a master of spin, have you considered that the Royalty was probably bought with an accrual so Bramill may claim "10% of consideration earned since December 2023" but in reality he is almost certainly including the purchased accrual. Many of us remember Bramhill buying 2.5% of a north sea Royalty then trying to con us into a placing for 25% more. What he failed to mention after the first purchase AND when he attempted to make a 2nd purchase was that the Royalty had accrued for over 5 years without paying out....yes, 5 years!
My pleasure. now I know what to look out for I will keep an eye on them. One caveat is that the NSTA does not indicate downtime if any, I believe it calculates bpd based as an average of the month regardless of any downtime
Hi Jack, imo the investment case has improved with the move into the US, that plus Jan data for Wressle which is encouraging. Obviously one month's data doesn't make a trend but it does appear that Wressle is back on track plus poo is strong. Later this month we should know if Beacon is successful and surely in Q2 we will get an update on Kedd. I think it's going to be a good year for the sp. (a strong buy imo - the first time in a long time)
Only partly due to the US, imo investors have been very nervous about the flow rate at Wressle but now we have direction from the NSTA data investors are more optimistic. A steady 600bpd means about $500k net pm at current poo
