casino, last election was May 21 next council election May 25 so the newly elected councillors may have freshly made election pledges to stick to, but let's hope they take the advice of their own experts and grant permission
curiously there is a forward dated document on the website, is this normal?
Open Report on behalf of Andy Gutherson - Executive Director for Place Report to: Planning and Regulation Committee Date: 1 November 2021 Subject: County Matter Application - N/059/00510/21
Recommendation: "Following consideration of the relevant development plan policies and the comments received through consultation and publicity it is recommended that conditional planning permission be granted subject to the applicant completing a Section 106 Planning Obligation to secure landscape planting and the long-term management of the habitats providing for Biodiversity Net Gain outside of the application site boundary"
gwynwin, yes debt free, but at what cost? ujo appears to have about £5m cash net of the £2m due to Calmar (circa £2m without the last placing). With Wressle revenue at least $100k per week and probably rising, I have to wonder why DB didnt arrange a revolving loan facility with his bankers instead of a placing that decimated the sp yet again! DB seems to be unreasonably focused on being debt free when a loan facility would give him flexibilty without trashing the sp. It would have been a popular choice given the 2 previous leaked placings.
not sure there is such a thing as a joint ISA? I though perhaps he had sold his shares and then topped up his and his wife's but the RNS says his ISA. assuming the RNS is correct he must have had £20k cash sitting in his ISA and transferred another £20k in from the sale to buy the 51m
so many miserable contributors here, the bad news is now in the open, the good news news is ujo has several million in the bank, the very good news is that Wressle is a great success, what's not to like?
so many disheartened investors but I see 20p as a cracking investment opportunity based on Wressle alone, in fact, having been an investor for 3 years and bought and sold at various levels I think now is the best time to buy, fingers crossed 40p by Christmas

Note the different wording in the 2 RNS's, 'instantaneous' vs 'production'
RNS 21.09.21 "Instantaneous flow rates from the Ashover Grit reservoir of 884 barrels of oil per day ("bopd") achieved on a significantly restricted choke setting"
RNS 28.09.21 "Achieved production rates from the Ashover Grit reservoir of 884 barrels of oil per day ("bopd")"
casino, my thoughts on the Royalty "nobody has a clue about how the royalties work" - there is some information on the ujo website and a fair amount on the internet but I have yet to find any detail on the first transaction "what they are worth to the company" - DB's stats were hard to believe as was his claim that it would repay itself within 1 year "The revenues over the next 10+ years could have been multiples of the investment value" - we simply dont know, DB was not being transparent and did not take the time to explain the mechanics in details nor the risks "This could have been a very attractive investment for UJO" - we'll never - see previous answer
