reaction, your question is relevant, what are DB's plans for all the cash? my est. is he has over £7m in the bank and £1m due from EDR in the summer (£2m due to Calmar in the near future). If the Wressle cash accumulates at over $100k per week and with WN & Bisc seriously delayed, will DB be tempted to splash out on an acquisition? Perhaps a juicy equity stake in EDR?

RNS 23.09 £3m (gross if the fee was paid in shares?)
RNS 27.10 $1m net revenue from Wressle
possibly another $500k since 27.10 from Wressle,
that's about £8.7m (not including costs incurred since 30.06 or £2.08m due to of Calmar)

morning heid, $1.5m if wressle has continued at $100k per week for the last 5 weeks, but surely there would be significant down time whilst installing & testing the new equipment?

you're absolutely right, the jam is rolling in at $100'00 per week and likely to climb, jam today, jam tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...Wressle is delivering jam in abundance!

0.075p in "old money", a great buying opportunity imo based on Wressle alone, no more money needed for WN or Bisc for the foreseeable future, just sit back and watch the money roll in

what's more interesting regarding Wressle is what DB said in the Proactive interview of 11th May 2020 (yes I know it's old).
"...we could get a 1000 plus out of that well (Wressle) but we have agreed with the council to limit it to 500"
DB has since said there is no limit, obviously it's good news if Wressle outperforms the expected 500, but I am wondering why he said what he said.

rosty, it's my understanding that ujo will issue a trading update in January as they will be in profit for 2021, this is great news which will - in my opinion - give the sp a serious boost. I think your top-up will prove to be a great investment within 3 months (subject to a trading update)

mickybee, no need to trust me, see the ujo website https://unionjackoil.com/share-price/ where it clearly states shares in issue of 112,715,896 which tallies with the RNS & hsbc, not a ramp just a fact. perhaps you should spend less time trolling and more time checking your facts?

yes they are incorrect, see RNS of 23/09, new shares added 28/09, both LSE & HL are incorrect, my HSBC account shows the correct number of 112.72m

mickybee, you are incorrect, there are 112.7m shares so mcap is about £18m

casino, I am very happy that there is a sane and balanced voice countering all the idiots who post here, ujo is a good company with a good future, mistakes have been made of that there's no doubt, however Wressle is doing very well and will take ujo into profit for 2021. many investors seem to expect that every pedl in the portfolio will deliver in spades, that's not a realistic view imo. with regard to Heid, I see her as nothing more than an over enthusiastic investor who loves to be in the spotlight - certainly not a paid ramper :)

royoboy, I know casino will deny it but I'm fairly sure he represents ujo (btw I dont have an issue with that, ujo needs all the help it can get on lse and his posts appear factual and and well argued). He says an investigation is rumoured on twitter yet as far as I can see casino was the first one to hint at this. Obviously people will make up their own minds whether or not he represents DB.

from the April trading update:
o Production at Wressle expected to be highly profitable at today's US$60 plus per barrel oil prices - compares favourably to estimated break-even oil price of US$17.6 per barrel.
· 86boepd was produced from Europa's 3 existing UK onshore fields during the period - compared to 90boepd for H1 2020

Wressle actually producing significantly better than expected plus of course oil well above $60, whilst we all want an update I have no doubt that it will put a rocket under the sp when it comes

the - ujo is not the operator - argument is used too often imo, ujo owns 40% of Wressle and will have a very strong voice with regard to what is released and when and I'm quite sure DB is in very regular contact with EDR

ismalia, it's good to read a sensible, objective post for a change. So much negativity on this board which many seem to love to wallow in. ujo isn't perfect but surely no-one expects every project to be a success? Wressle is awesome, the 2021 results will prove many doubters wrong and the sp will recover strongly in the next few months as investors see the cash rolling in.
