Wressle produces about 480'000 cfpd which is currently flared. this link shows that a 175mw generator burns 2264cf per hour or 54'336 pd which suggests to me that production could be increased by about 10%

I would love to know how a mini-turbine for site power plus a gas-engine for 175mw could possibly increase production from 725bpd to 1000bpd? please explain

unfortunately GTG (for the Penystone Flags) appears to be a pipe dream...FDP still being prepared, then a site has to be found and built, then the drill, etc etc, GTG by 2026 perhaps?

if it takes 15 months to replace a diesel generator with a mini-turbine, how long will to take to install a gas-engine, H1 2024?

it's very disappointing to see the sp drift down since the dividend. However, with the 3 new turbines/engines now on site (as yet unconfirmed by EDR but fairly obvious from roofers pictures) I'm hoping we will have an update from Egdon tomorrow or early next week which should lift the sp. The burning question for me is with the Biscathorpe appeal decision likely soon, plus gas to wire possibly imminent, why isnt the broker buying shares at this great price???

fair comment stas, I guess I'm a little cynical after 4 years of investing in edr ujo eog & rbd, perhaps it would be better to say "never expect small oilers to deliver in the timeframe given"

stas20, I would add to that list that small oilers are very good at over promising and under delivering, always consider RNS's to be nothing more than a wish-list for the coming months/year, only believe what has happened, not what is promised (a lesson it took me a while to learn, I have been too trusting)

this statement is misleading as the 245bpd is for all onshore not just Wressle, not exactly quality journalism

imo Ukraine has been a wake up call for modern armies (and a showroom/testing ground for many western weapons systems), we are now in an arms race between drones and counter-drone technology, backing either or both horses is likely to be lucrative. Drone technology isn't just land and air, there is also a thriving maritime drone industry in the UK which arguably has more compelling economics than land & sea, imagine being able to take out our £3bn aircraft carrier with a £1m maritime drone...remember what happened in the Falklands with French Exocets versus our Navy?
