Although the sp is still slipping week after week, it does feel pointless selling when sitting on a big % loss, especially as the upside could be enormous. with £87m at 31.12.22 and the (slim) possibility of an outright win, best case scenario is £168m cash + legal costs (less running costs), that's 240p per share in cash. very unlikely but possible all the same, hence I'm hanging on (for the moment)

- Rathlin's cash position is a major problem for progressing WN.

- as at 31.12.21 they had £5.272m unrestricted cash.

- UJO spent £505k on WN in 2022 so logically Rathlin spent £2.02m leaving them just £3.25m as at 31.12.22.

- RBD Finals stated 'The company estimates it’s 16.67% share of costs to be c.£1.4 million for drilling a new well and £0.6 million for testing the well'

- Rathlin needs £8m to fund their share, they have a financial mountain to climb, their only asset appears to be 4/6 of WN

The producing Keddington oilfield, positioned along the East Barkwith Ridge, harbors an undrained oil resource. An operator review confirms this, with further drilling permitted for increased production via a development side-track well.

Legacy 3D seismic data re-processing has informed target definition and well design planning. Infill drilling could improve Keddington's recovery by 113,000 to 183,000 barrels, subject to the permeability model and infill targets chosen.

Subject to finalising the sub-surface location, it is planned to drill the well, where planning is already granted, in late 2023.

If they spend the £750k on shares at an average of say 0.15p that's 500m shares in Treasury which could be used to partly fund the option, perhaps that's part of the "strategy"
