RE: Recap - FARN9 Aug 2018 10:03
Great post. Dont want this to get lost down the line of posts so hoppe you dont mind me reposting!
44For some reason, I cannot sleep ... 0530 and it's still dark in North Devon! Time for FARN research!
-- May 8th 2018 - SP down as much as 90% - from 725 to to end at 104 after clinical results re: Traumakine
Boss - Dr Jalkanen - "disappointed" BUT looks forward to more results on drug 3rd Qtr from Japan.
(In 2016, Maruishi produces positive Phase II results for Traumakine).
Euros 18.7 million in bank
Focus on Clevegen. FARN working with Birmingham Uni Medical School's world-renowned liver unit.
"CTA filing for drug in UK - 3rd Qtr 2018"
-- June 19th 2018 - "important observations" from Traumakine failure (Dr J.)
-- June 19th - 21st 2018 - Directors and associates of FARN buy 124,100 shares in FARN - between 56 & 71pps
-- June 28th 2018 - Clevegen shows "encouraging results" (Dr J).
SP up 36% - "CTA filings 3rd Qtr with patients recruited for 4th Qtr" - Phase I/II
-- August 8th 2018 - Abzena announces it has completed manufacture of cancer drug Clevegen in California.
(Abzena was called Antitope (based in Cambridge) and has been working with Faron since 2010)
SO - what are we waiting for in this 3rd Qtr:
-- Traumakine top line results from Japan
-- Potential new model for Traumakine
-- Clevegen filings in UK and more pre-clinical results
Seems to me that despite Traumakine, FARN has a real chance to turn things around with Clevegen ...
Oversold but market saw Traumakine as a huge failure ... for now. Maybe Japan has something in store for us? Good news from Traumakine or Clevegen - then SP will push back to April/early May mark.
Here's hoping ...
BTW - the BOD for Faron are quite accomplished in biotech and medicine ... I cannot see them taking "failure" lightly ...
Back to bed I think!
