Wrt costs of mining.........interesting point is we are bearing down on cost by increasing mining tonnage on high grade ore. But with the our new shallow low dip discovery we now have a way of decreasing costs by shallow stope mining......even long wall maybe ???? So I think the intention is and the possibility is to make us gold price proof whilst lots of other mines have to close.

True Mogo. But wow what a story we have had here. I am an old Goldfields employee and Ogilvy's pater was Chairman in my day so I guess we have a connection. I am certainly a fan and it looks like it will be more than just a sentimental connection. I also have a real admiration for the South African Mining culture........they really know how to tackle the deep levels and that's where we are headed. I think no matter what the gold price does now we a likely to be one of the last mines standing. I am intrigued by the obvious strategy to keep the cash balance very high ( New Chairman and latest cash intake ) Are they planning to be able to cope with extended low gold price ?? Mmmm.

CTW........KGI is unlikely to be on the average broker's heads up list. because :- 1) Its a Miner and mining is out of Vogue just now. 2) Its a gold miner and gold is yesterdays story but some of us are influenced by history and we know the future.. So you may want to consult a mining savvy broker. I think we are jus over the 10M oz mark in our ore reserve. Any increase in ore reserve will make us increasingly interesting to the big mining houses. So I am a little puzzled by the fact that we havnt jacked up the expo drilling ........ They have stated that it's primary parameter is to replace depletion of ore but there is some extra above this . So ore reserve will be climbing. The strategy may be to get to sustained consistent profitability and Divi payment over say 2 years......that surely will make us irresistible. Either way there is no way we can stay on our own. AIMHO

.............in view now..................... then onto 300,000 Oz year.......think what that will do for production costs. £3 sp cumin up As Oglvie says we are on track to become a ''major'' Canadian Mine. No mention of the expo on the shallow ore...........still got that to come in the ore reserve statements. Focusing on increasing efficiencies.........paste delivery, stope mining cycle, use of drill rigs and getting development onto ore where possible. This is real Mining Management talent in action and on display. Take out price £20 to £25 per share within 2 years to Consolidated Goldfields AIMHO and DYOR

.......just not on the radar at the moment but what a phenomenal 3rd quarter report and surely establishing us as a long term profitable gold mine............and how many of those do you know. No mention of the expo drilling but that will be covered next month when they report on ore reserve. Hope they find that missing $10m. Well clear of the 5m oz now and headed for the 10m oz ore reserve Every Mining House must be running the ruler over us .........and it feels good......... All that untested ground in the other 5 mines.........it is looking more and more like one of the giant South African Mines on the Rand with hundreds of millions of ounces between 1000m to 2200m depth. and decades of life. ( West and East Driefontein ? ). Anyone else mining at 15 gm/ton........no ......and we are heading towards 19 gm/ton if we mine to mine grade. Costs will fall dramatically when we open up the newly drilled upper levels. The only reason we arn't above £10 a share is cos mining is off the menu in the investment houses right now but....... A great share to be in IMHO and I am luvin the mining. (Invest in the Man)

Sunday Times ran a dump gold article last Sunday........!! In my experience media de-ramping usually means one of their friends wants ''in'' so get them to run an article to try to influence price down so they can buy in cheap. So it wont surprise me to see the Au price squeeze up.!! We are seeing our resource pushing our life of mine significantly out and now we are mining to grade it seems we are back into profit...........?.......and still life of mine is increasing .........due to shallow high grade additions !! mmmm. As always a good one for me. Havnt bought for a while but next time it dips to £2.25 I shall funds permitting. Still a buy for me.

.........suggests to me we wont be getting dividends for the next two maybe 3 years............?? What is divi policy then. I suggest we will want all our debt cleared and this includes any borrowings wrt South Mine Complex expansion...........which if my memory serves me right was at outset C$65m. So I expect debt cleared in next 2 years and additional cash build to C$50m AIMHO........but face it I know nothing

........was the Swiss Govt disengaging the Swiss franc from the euro..........and Swiss Franc subsequent doubles in value. Lots of burnt fingers and funds and bank accounts. Unless they were hedged we will see a few swamks down the soup kitchen. They had better stand in line and show more manners than they are used to showing. I wont stand for any barging in front . Just goes to show they should have been in GOLD and even better gold shares and even better still KGI. Last post on here was me 6 weeks ago. I am here to point up an article on gold in Investors Chronny. Golden game changers. The news is the Swiss are fed up with their currency being very lowly valued. ( causing high cost of living and high cost of property due to foreign buyers ) . This low value of the Swiss franc is said to be linked to the fact that Swiss govt gold reserves have decline to very low levels.......... The swiss are voting at end of the month to jack up Govt gold holdings to cover up to 40% of issued currency as was the case prior 1097 before the introduction of the policy to demonitize gold. The swiss have huge foreign exchange holdings with most in Euros following their policy to counter the rise in the Swiss franc ( as people bought up the franc as they fled the euro ) by selling Swiss Franc foe Euros thereby devaluing the franc. To jack up gold holdings to required levels Swiss need to spend $65.5 Billion.........that amounts to 4 to 5 years buying or all the investment gold at current buying volumes ?? Anyway read the article........... back onto sleep mode

Read graph yesterday .........drew short term bottom support from last two down limits and it came very close to yesterdays sp.........so I thought upward leg on Monday....... And this morning it pings up. So its not all mumbo jumbo after all.........this charty stuff

In my opinion They just arnt real gritty oil men...........to much graft maybe ? I find my thoughts turning to wondering if WV have a connection to Dragon or even ENOC. That might encourage them to usher in lowest possible price to suck low priced assets into their owners bigger asset pile.........if that is the case.? IMHO The BOD don't seem to feel the need to fight for our value (nothing new there then) so maybe their incentives lie else where and in ushering the sale through at what I see as to low a price. So we wonder how that might be. Either way I don't think this BOD have the skills or competencies to manage AT to production and full potential. So I cant see us getting our value out which ever way.............it sucks !! as always

not really........we are entitled to point out our concerns.......and with any T/O valuation is the point . We as shareholders without access to the confidential science can only allude to guesstimates and exprapolations and we in AIM and its a small oily.

U godda be kiddin ........right All our resource estimates are way to low especially AT which is about 25% of what is really there IMHO and to be shown in next 30 years.. So is the BOD strategy to dress PCI down for a quick sale and get big hand shakes out quick and lucrative directorships out quick.........? That's a valid question and all stated as IMHO

Hope yu saw the Sunday Times article on the AIm oilies. My resding is they were saying Those that are producing pay their board multiples of turn over and thats without showing any profit.......( does that sound like us ? maybe .......words carefully chosen ) Then there are some which arnt even producing and still pay their BODs bonanza cgeques. AIM has a bad reputation for a very good reason I guesss.

Each year AT gets put off another year.........started at 2015 now 2018 Italy........no one knows what is going on there ........either off shore or on shore. And that has been the case for 5 years. Kurdy ? well that typical PCI.........everyone else gets black fingers ..........we turn up zilch

Just bought 0.83% of the stock pushing their holding up to 8.1% More suggestion its getting prettied up for a T/O I know I do bang on

Oh also.........I am thinking KGI is being dressed up for sale in about 18mths time !! ie 4M oz in ore reserve..........heading for profitable trading for the 2015 year........easy shallow mining in view and deep level high grade under control. My money is on Goldfields as buyer as they build up their portfolio outside Africa now.

Interesting thought Driver........I am interested in buying small coin once I have navigated all my shares into all my allowances. No accidents so far.........call in from time to time. Maybe buy in again at 273p in a few weeks time.

Bl00dy Heell ........I bet that guy doesn't sleep at night Good post driver........now I know I godda sell every thing including the dog and buy Krugers. I do think he is right .......the stupid futures and derivatives industry will sink us. We know the system is staffed by spivs and sharp boys who will casually cheat and lie to land a million bonus. There is a complete lack of discipline and moral status in the financial world. As the man said 2008 was just the starter course the main course will be the derivative and electronic trading melt down and that will be B-I-G. Just my opinion of course.
