I got the impression LC was reading some pretty silly e-mail questions and having to skip thru quite a few.
I would suggest he takes a more jaundiced view of some of the failed individuals who think they can live out their Managerial fantasies by bashing a competent talented and successful Manager.
Delete and forget Leon or better still get someone else to do it for you. I would prefer your brain applied to stuff of consequence so don't be so polite. We need you more than you need them.
I am still puzzled as to wether we actually own the legacy dumps at Hernic or not ...... anyone ? Leon didn't quite close it.
WRT figures ...... great he squashed the swivel chair keyboard pretend Managers and made it clear the debate on financial parameters is well premature.
He has put one foot carefully in front of the last with a clear trajectory to a mature seasoned operation. Planned the plant, built the plant on time and budget, begun operations, carefully ramped up thru put, now approaching name plate production, and then we will test that as a limit and all this on efficiencies and recoveries and costs.
That's the point he covered well. We just arnt at the point when we can talk about equilibrium costs (production costs and all in costs and efficiencies). Other Mines and plants can do this after years of production and on the back of well bedded practise and experience and legacy numbers. To start doing comparisons with other plants now is silly. That might be a prospect in 2 or 3 years time.
Once we achieve a steady state after more than a year of production there may well be opportunities to make adjustments and even reconfigure some circuits to get better performance but that is well into the future usually.
Well done Leon and thx
