Thx Some will remember I have been trying to guage the amount of Pt Gp Metals likely to be consumed in the modern fuel cells but I confess I am not happy that I have much insight yet. Big attack on the Pt content has rduced the Pt in FC bu 90% which obviously aint good for us. The move is very much to the Polymer catalysts ( I don't even know if these have a Pt component ) Deisels use Pt I know and with the big ho ha about cheating on emission recordings could this indicate more Pt required for bigger converters. ( I hope so !! ) Petrol cars moved to Palladium cos its cheaper. Well that's good for us to but maybe a move back to Pt there as Palladium price shot up recently What else ...... investment and jewelry and electronics trade ? ...... Well that's flat !! So we can only look to mine closures and saying goodbye to some of the old beasts and giants. And that will happen with declining pricing. But the other side to that coin is our Tjate goes into deep freeze. I am guessing Pt in the doldrums for next 10 years until we and Sibanye have finished working the surface dumps. So yes as posters here point out that's why our re focus on ''Metals'' makes good business sense and I guess why Zambian dumps goes to the top of the priority lists. Its not actually a trade war ....... its a rebalancing and adjustment to the fact that China is no longer a struggling emerging economy but a global colossus with global power second only to US. USA is putting them on notice that they will have to stop taking and do some giving now. Their technique has been to allow US exporters to sell into China only if USA gives full unfettered access to tech patents. The corollary has been to allow China to buy US firms which are loaded up with tech patents. Progress so far has been halving of import duty on US autos and much progress on Financial services openings into China. China knows it wont be able to demand its begging bowl is continually filled by USA and we all know those gigantic sleeves are full of swag pinched from USA and others. So nothing new. Obama just didn't have a clue .... he interpreted the job of US President as getting popular by giving it all away and running racist policy. Go Trump but keep hands to self.!!

Anyways which big Mining House would want us before we prove up sustained production and an ability to replace consumed ore and even push out efficiencies. Remember goldfields didn't think we were big enough and if I am not mistaken still have an interest. They will see the road ahead and I am sure will back the current team of Managers. Will they be takers on a T/O seeing their chance to build a decent Mining concern by developing all our interests in other ground holdings. ?? No !! We will have so much leverage on BMR they will not have to much room to manoeuvre. As builder and operator, as Major shareholder (If there is a fund raiser we will maintain our exposure and maybe increase), I think BMR already owe us money don't they ?? !!! Could we do a deal and take loan and build costs as a stake in BMR and so increase our exposure to the proceeds of the dump. This would leave BMR in a good position just taking income with no work to do. Build complete and producing by August ?? That would be good but steady on !!! Personally I don't think so !!!! I wouldn't be surprised if many BMR investors didn't favour folding in with JM It would certainly de-risk their investment. IMHO

It takes a bit to get it but all the rules developed over the last 50 years are simply and comprehensively being ignored. Get your heads round that. And again I havnt experienced a mine which might have 5 years of product concentrated in a pocket of ground 100m x 80m x 60m. Its all new to me and I have been in mining for donkeys years

The only constraint will be from Utilities capacity to meet the demand for electricity. Took a while for everyone to recover ........ St Johns Ambulance First Aiders wanted to attend ( FOUR of them) and of course the Tea Ladies needed input with their standard comfort ......... Visitors questioned if , with such vitriol and bias on display this Person was a suitable choice for Scorer ......... End of Day ........ IQE specialized in wafer production and made the case that in house production of wafers by individual electronics manufacturers was not economic. They progressively qualified and proved up one manufacturer after the other and continuously expanded their offering. I don't think apple will be interested in wafer production. They may well be interested in taking waffers off us to produce their own chips. I believe they have already started. So we will supply to them direct and not to their suppliers ?
