If it makes you feel better I started with about £30k about 10 years ago, had ups and downs and got hammered down from £50k to about £12k early in the year, its been a learning curve and many lessons learnt.
I saw it as no different to me buying a new car and losing the money on it.
Amigo and a few others this year have done me well.

Full disclosure, I’m cashing out some amigo profits to ensure I have a great Xmas and pay a few bills while I can. 300k sold, leaving 500k in. Sure they will be worth more long term but it means I can leave the rest in for longer and actually see something from all the work, research and trading done since March, not bad considering I started with about 280k shares.

Tests and PPE will be around for a while yet as the virus and others in the future mutate.

g3 (I missed out on) but we all said was a red or black gamble and many said to take your stake out as it rose and before it shut shop for a longer than expected period, the covid vaccine news (which still might not work) was unexpected and everything is a risk.

Let’s face it this years accounts are going to be rubbish no matter what happens amd hay that’s what has allowed us to buy in at these prices, but they are setting it up well for a great next year (if all goes to plan and with a bit of luck)

they could just block all the brand new spam accounts under a month old from posting, and remove a few ads or stick to single image & lower sized adverts, not the animated ones, i know most of us dont pay LSE a penny but all them ads cost users money on data downloads, and most use adblock anyway :)
