I think the interest shown during the last few days may prompt an RNS - perhaps even a seasonal update.

A pre close trading update will help and should make good reading. We were told the second half should be better and I was very impressed with the presentation and feel we have a good team in place. Various new initiatives in place, another 3 years with Tesco and Ireland doing well and a potential bid in the mix. I do not feel the current MC recognises much of where we are.

As I have posted previously I feel Morrison will need to take on MCLS before another takes it. But given the MC and the recovery that is going on, the turnover and the store network, any value will need to be in the region of 75p at least. It will give Morrison a better corner shop presence - something that's very appealing for shoppers now. But of course there could be a non convenience store bidder in the back ground that would like a retail presence. Morrison will want to keep their supply interest and I would expect they are talking all the time.

We must remember tha Jon Fitzpatrick has taken an interest of more than 7pc and he knows a bit about the oil business. The potential alone should put the sp above 1p imo with a much higher vale to follow.

To put us on a pe of 10 we need to make a post tax profit of about £14m - can anyone see this?

What they could look for is a cash shell in exchange for BARK shares. Take the pot and grow the investor base. We do need cash IMO and such a transaction would be cheaper than a conventional raise. Is it possible to have an RTO of a major company rather than grow organically but still leave CD and Co at the helm. On the question of shareholdings I have been here since the mining days and have continued to add but I wonder how many old miners we may have holding only a few shares. If you have access to the register Fortitude perhaps you could advise on the number of holders we have - and I guess it is in the very low hundreds at best. What makes you guys think the resent RNS was more positive than negatives. Perhaps Barry Boy should be adding at these lower levels.

Not much said but an encouraging post on Aquis yesterday and I wonder how long it will be after the AGM that we get momentum. Still low cap.

What should help the sp will be the publication of the annual figures promised by CB before the end of the year and a comprehensive update on all projects. I feel that GLR could be a CB winner for the coming year as all the ducks are lining up.

The slightest hint of real value in the ground will send the sp well above the 5p level or in line with Aligns note. Brett has stated that we will be looking to sell to a major and move on to other prospects. By the end of the year or early January I think we will have a much larger MC

We must remember that the recent fund raise was to progress their existing prospects in Australia not the recently purchased licences. Possibly a raise, but there should be positive news from the field before the end of the year but trying to forecast a sp is not easy - could be anywhere between 10p and 50p but inclined to think nearer the higher. Once we know what's in the ground the majors will be knocking on the door to add to their reserves - they will not need to mine yet but will want new feed for the future.

MC is only £5m so can see this at 10p - 12p plus on good news which may well come before the end of the year. The BOD know the business and would not have raised £2m at such a good price unless they were confident of what is likely to be in the ground.

AGM next Thursday - 26th, so will expect a positive update and perhaps a rerate to 30p as the potential begins to sink in to the market

75p is fine IMO. Annual T/O about £1.2bn from 1100 stores partnering with Morrison. So it is likely that a larger company probably in the same or relate sector will want them. M Cap about £80m at 75p. A gift.

And the problem is that the Edwards are only having a punt and will not be doing anything with it.

Morrison supply into MCLS and no doubt would like to insulate themselves from an unwanted bid. So my money is on Morrison making a move to grow their Local network and compete with the others - Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury. An acquisition of MCLS by Morrison would make them no 3 and probably bid proof. But they would need to move fast and offer a sensible price for MCLS who wont go quietly now they are in recovery mode and possibly the darling of the corner shops. A 75p agreed knock out blow could be on the cards - still low value for 1100+ shops growing revenues.

Good to read C1 and Fortitude and agree with your positive posts - unfortunately I work for a living and struggle to find posting time! One thing comes to mind is that I feel the typical investor is perhaps confused by the diverse offerings of the company thus keeping them away - cars, pubs, building, and the Life Science investments which may appear to some to be some other interest BARK has rather than the potential driver for the sp. With the half year ending 31/12 we may have an update ahead of then. Best to both.

I just cannot understand the MC when you look at the revenue, the data base, and the position the company has in the market it operates in. There have been problems I accept that but the current management are dealing with this and getting set up for the return to a new norm. IMO the sp should be well ahead of current value, simply for where it is now let alone the tremendous potential. It will be first in the frame for any Government initiatives that are on their way.

They will seek to establish what the value is in the ground and having done that will then look to farm out or sell the potential. There must be several large miners lining up to either buy in or take on WSBN as an entity.
